Yeah, mine smell stronger at night too, especially right before the light goes on. Seen other folks make the same observation. Nice pic, that's looking lush!
Yep, my flowering girls smell awesome, especially in the evening. I usually have the door to my balcony wide open, and the smell wafting in is very nice.

Right on thanks for the kind words guys!

haha yeah brickedup, that everest commercial is hilarious :) if only they'd put that on tv and not the boring ones they've got

I've been smoking on some Bubba Kush recently - super bomb stoney stuff! maybe I'll add a couple shot next time I upload pics :weed: it's fantastic - fruity smell, very danky nugs; ...EXTREMELY KUSHY exhale though! its amazing how much it tastes like kush on the exhale, haha

hope all is well,

Hey all,
I've got a lot of new pics from earlier today. The ladies are maturing very well, and getting more and more danky each day. I've got to say the GDP takes the cup for being the most sticky, danky, and resinous...it's absolutely amazing!
The Chocolope is up there also with the THC abundance and stickiness and smell - which is pleasantly surprising:) The others smell good, but not as danky.

Also, the very tips of many leaves are slightly burning and curling under...It may be because the nutrient mix was too strong in something - Homebrewer says in his thread that the GH recipe is a little off when it comes to the Liquid KoolBloom and FLoraBloom - he says it'll fry the plants if you do 20ml of FBloom and 5-10ml of the KoolBloom...I think he's right.

Enjoy the pics! -sorry none of that bubba kush I was smokin on.
Questions? Comments?? Concerns??? Rep???

Try 10 mls of florabloom and 5 mls of koolbloom per gallon. Your girls look good and that ratio shouldn't give you any issues (that ratio is what I've settled into after burning many, many plants with the GH schedule).

EDIT: It's also a ratio to build on if you feel your girls are handling it well.

Awesome man thanks for the help, I'll definitely write that onto my feeding schedule and do it.
Much appreciated!

Looking good King. A little nute burn, but looks like you're getting it dialed in. No harm done. Cheers.
Man, loving those pics. I hope my GDPs look like that soon... Props!
Yeah it's nute burn - too much FloraBloom and Liquid KoolBloom at the same time - I'll have to wait until next week to adjust the nutes seeing as I just changed the res today. I did go a little easier on both the FBloom and the KoolBloom, so we'll see how they respond...otherwise I think they're doing great!

There is one thing that I'm not quite sure how I'll get around: my Bubblegum, Gdp, and Purp H will all be done a good 3 or so weeks before the Chocolope and Morning Daze (I'm assuming...seeing how the latter two are more sativa - and that's what I've read around the web) so I'm wondering how I'll flush the earlier finishing ones without confusing the sativas...
...any input will be appreciated, considered, and then placed into a category in my mind of my choosing, haha.
but seriously...

If you're nervous about your current nute strength, you can always add plain water to your res in order to dilute your nute mix.

Y'know, I read an article from mandalaseeds.com called Fertilizing Wisely, and it had all sorts of usefull info on how to avoid burning cannabis with common nute lines, and also why it's easy to do. Really useful. As posted by RIU user genfranco... https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/121157-fertilizing-wisely.html Definitely worth a read. Honestly tho, your nute burnage looks pretty minor to this noob. Dilute as recommended by homebrewer, you'll be fine. The different/extended harvest time is a bitch tho. I'd hit some seedbank sites and see for sure what kind of flowering time to expect from your specific strains so you can plan accordingly. That's what I've been doing for my own multi-strain clusterfizzle. Feel free to check it out...

hey where did you get these leds from? are they 1 watt bulbs? do you know the color spectrum on them?

I am contemplating doing a grow with my current 400 watt mh and hps lights and adding a 300 watt led (from htgsupply.com

i am also gonna throw in a couple of 90 watt ufos

i am getting alot of mixed thoughts

how is this going for you so far would you say?

Hey Ralphie.
I'd certainly recommend a few leds in with a hps grow. The ones I have I got from a company in china - through this web site. Use it well. with great wisdom comes great responsibility...sorry, that was pretty bad.
The LEDs I have are 300watts, red and blue spectrum.
I'd say I'm happy with the grow, but - and I've been discussing this with Homebrewer - I'd say the LEDs are good, but not great. In the future, when the technology isn't too expensive to make LEDs with every color the plants use, and to the right intensity also, they will outperform the HPS by far. But for now I'd say the HPS is overall going to give you bigger yields, but LEDs certainly arent too far behind - not to mention they don't require heating removal, they aren't too hot and will never burn the plants, and they use MUCH LESS energy than HPS.
I'm sure if I had two 600 watt LEDs up there my crop would be bigger...or at least I'm pretty sure...LEDs certainly arent bad - I'm happy with them.
