600w powerplant ballast buzzing sound

ok so hers what’s up I set up a grow a few weeks ago I have a 600w powerplant ballast with a 250w eco bulb and its all going farley well so far but today my ballast started making a strange buzzing sound, it sort of sound like a high pitch buzzing humming sound it still works fine but the noise is quite loud
if anyone has any ideas help is appreciated
but I think Il have to run it tonight noise or not I’ve left it on now for about 10 mins now and its still making the sound but working fine

i know i onley realised after i regasterd thinkin i might make a new account

well just be carefull

my ballast did that and it was very warm after, i let it cool down for like 5 minutes and sound went away after light kicked on, might help...also make sure all cords are plugged all the way in that will make it buzz also

is it a switchable ballast?

i hope your ballast is dimable because you should only use the size bulb which your ballast is rated for. since it buzzs i would assume it is a magnetic ballast which is not dimable if this is the case magnetic ballasts do buzz but you must also use thee correct bulb rated for the ballast

have you really got a 250 watt cfl plugged into a 600 watt ballest? well theres the problem!

haha i did not even see the eco part i just assumed it was a hps. thats even funnier. now i feel kinda stupid for being that gullible.
