Hey guys, haven't been on rollitup in a while, I just got a new apartment and ready to get back into growing.

I have a 4x4 tent , 10 Incredible Hulk seeds, and a 600w hps bulb 2100k along with a 600w mh bulb 4200k..

I just need advice on how many plants I can put under the lights to get a good yield?
Also, is the mh 4200k good for veg?
I was thinking of starting with 3 plants for now and hoping for a pound.. Am I being optimistic?

I also have a 150w cfl for both veg and flowering that I might use for extra light..

Any advice or experience will be great thank !!

It depends on how big you want to grow them and how much your strain will stretch in flower. I personally do 9 plants in a 4x4 area. Remember its not about the plant number really. It is about filling in the canopy of that area.

2 gallon Coco DTW with 10 plants I got a bit over 2 pounds. These days I grow from coco hempy to No-till organic. Just depends on what I feel like throwing into flower at the moment.

I think a pound from a 600 watt is pretty do-able.

But you will need enough plant mass, or a full enough canopy, to produce the buds. I grow in soil, so with 3 plants I'd use 1 gallon pots and your cfl to get started. After a couple weeks I'd repot in 7 gallon pots or bigger. Then like a 4 Week veg under your big mh bulb. Long enough to fill your tent like 2/3 of the way, before you flip.

If you want a shorer veg time, or smaller pots you'll need more plants to fill things up. Or you could go the other way, with less plants, bigger pots, and a longer veg.

Like I said, I grow in soil, so other methods may work differently.

i like lots of small plants over bigger ones, in a 4x4ft table i put 25 plants in 4x4inch rock wool blocks.. veg clones 1 week after rooted, and pull 1 gram per watt under my 600 hps.. a 600 is perfect for a 4ft area.. if you go with less plants you have to veg longer to fill the canopy..i find sea of green plants much easier to trim than big bushes but its all your own preference, both ways work great..

Damn homie that looks nice. I just read a dope article on coco DTW and it looks good, seems like a lot of work though,Do you feed it nutes? What kind of hood and ballast are u using? How big are your pots? how long did you veg? Sorry for the questions man lol
It actually was not much work at all. I think I'm about to set it up again. I fed them House and Garden cocos A&B. I would veg until 12" or 3 weeks. Whichever came first. The pots were 2 gallons and I fed them once a day for one minute. On my other runs I tried feeding twice but it was a waste.
