Peace everyone will be staring my first grow soon I want to go with 3 fem seeds using 3 5 gallon buckets DWC 600w HPS 320 GPH pump I plan on veging 2 months what size room should I build ?

Im running a similar setup, 600w hps, 5g buckets etc. but I am limited with a 6.5' ceiling. Do you have a height limit?

Yeah Im gonna top them once after the 1rst month or before depending on how tall they are the strains are supposed to be short to medium tho

I think your buckets will be too small for a 60 day veg. Use 5 gallons .

yeah im using 5 gallon buckets with 10 inch netpots do you think i can place to plants in this big ass net pot ?same strain

1 plant per bucket, if you plan to veg for 60 days, you could put 2 per bucket with a shorter veg time.

you defintely can I always use 5'' net pots. Just probably gonna have to be stingy with the hydroton on the bottom then more hydroton tightly around the plug/rockwool then add as the plant grows. I vegged with a T5 and flowered with a 1000W HPS and the rootball was huge so 5 gallon buckets are good. Just keep a eye on that reservoir temperature keep it nice and cool.

also with 60 days of veg , your ceilings may not be tall enough, keep the light down on them during veg. I just got done taking the floor out of my cabinet to finish my flowering plants, gave me another 4 inches.

you can't control the flowering period, they are going to take aslong as they take, only thing you can control is the veg period

Flowering is all on the genetics and the only true way to tell if your plant is ready to flush/chop is by viewing the trichomes with a microscope. 40 day flower period?? That is really short. Trichome color is the only true way to tell if your plant is ready to chop..

Sounds like you know what you want to do. Like I posted earlier go to radio shack get a 16 dollar 30x's - 100x's microscope to check your trichomes regardless what the genetics say about flowering time it all varies could take your plant a week or two longer than you expected so when the time comes be checking with that microscope.

Clear= nothing
cloudy = head high
cloudy & amber like 50/50 ratio will give you both head and body high with some couch lock effects..
