should grab ya self a retro conversion mh for ya hps man if ya straped for cash, it would help alot for veg IMO as a newbie, got a 250 mh on mine till i need the extra, 600hps waiting for flower.

lil surprised Nik that u have 380+ post but know so little on growing.. When getting multiple 600 HPS in a small grow spot, u should really get that heat out.. I set up a small room 8X8 to test out some new 600W HPS with built in reflecter on the bulbs. On 3 600Watts HPS I yeild 2LB 3/4 and 8 grams. I moved them into my grow house and these bulbs are really working out good for me.. And I dont even notice their heat!!
I have always ran 1000W HPS because they get the job done! Maybe u should get just one 1000HPS.. Just a thought. Cheaper system and bulbs are cheap too.. U can get one good shade instead of bying two.. And one Ballst.
But I have also heard u say u only run two plants. So maybe 1 600Watt HPS would be more in your ally- still a waste of light- upgrade to 6 plants or 9 (3 rows of 3)

All in all, u should be getting .5gram otherwise your wasting your time. Honestly, dont flower with flours, u just might get discuraged about growing forever!

just yielded 5.5 oz off 3 exodus cheese in a 1.2m x1.2m tent and a 600w light! plants were fucked aswell had spidermite for like 3 weeks while vegging and took like 70 cuttins all together so ended up well bushy... loadsa popcorn. so if i can get 5.5 off 3 shit plants i rekon ya should be able to smash 10 if u got ya set-up dialed in like!!

with 2 flourescent lights no way 1-4 oz maybe aan oz for you with cfls i think they are talking 600w hps i just switched from 250w hps dual spec to 600w hps growlux start flowering soon i got 2 oz of mama mia with 250w hps and 1.5 oz off bigbang with the same light with flourescent lights i used to get betewwn 20-30g

Im a noob I get roughly 1-1/2oz per plant -soil 600w hps 4x4 tent.hoping to steadily increase my yield with experience.

My 2nd grow had 4 plants 2x 600 watt lights and pulled 26 oz dry 30 day veg from clone and 7 and a half weeks of flower hope I get close to the same on the next one might of just been a lucky run

I used to use a 400w hps and with 3 plants would average about 2.5 ozs per plant. I notice big differences when using a 5 gal pot vs a 3 gal, vegging a little longer, and also certain strains will yield more than others given the same conditions. When I say vegging longer it usually just a week or so, and thats only if i'm going to use the 5 gal pot.

I've seen guys on the forum with 5-10oz per plant yields so its all about how much you know. Scrog looks to be a good way to yield more but i've never tried.

Just seen this now but hey, , here's my 2sence all about genetics I.e seeds/cuts n also when in veg its all about letting them grow till at least 8 to 10 inches n start training them, personal I start of by crushing the stem under where my main cola is. This will help undergrowth grow taller to get a more even shaped plant towards the top (for lighting reasons to soak it up in flower). This then helps you concentrate on lower branches while it grows I.e take of take of the first two branches that come of the branch that comes of the main stem,

Also at this point put them in your finale pot to flower I use 4 to 5 gallon pots, this takes more room but your training now so spend 4 weeks now shaping n only concentrating on growth where light won't get too WHen it stretches in the switch over to 12 n 12. This will make life easier in flower n energy goes to where you want it too instead of the pop corn.

I get about 12 to 14 ounces with my setup,it's possible to get more.this amount allows the air from the fan to pass threw the total room and that helps to stop bugs & mold.

i stick 9 clones under my 600w hps in 1 gallon air-pots. i veg them for 2 weeks, give them a day of dark then switch to flower for 8 weeks then chop. lately i average 18 oz. dry

I'm not a very experienced grower but I do know you'll get more than a Oz per plant. I'm a novice grower and my first harvest I got 25gs per plant using CFL 4 32w 4ft bulbs. I used flora trio serious from GH. The plants were in one gallon pots. The veg time was about a little more than 4 weeks
