my friend has these lights and loves them! If properly set up they stay so cool. he has 3 in a row all connected to the same intake/exhaust and if you set a thermometer on the top of the hood even on the hottest day it doesnt get to 80 degrees . I am in fact so jealous of his lights Im going get myself the same setup. And if you ever decide to use co2 these are perfect for it. So yes I say get them just make sure you setup ventilation correctly so they can be used to there potental. Also the ballasts get hotter than normal ones because there is no fan in it but they say this actually prolongs the life of the ballast so dont worry also they come with a 5 year warranty .

wow thats en excellent deal, i seen lumatek ballasts alone go for more than $300, and free shipping?i got a digital greenhouse from HTG for 260 but i would definitly get the lumatek, they are the brand name and have a ridiculous 5yr warranty
