currently a grow is underway, indoors, 1.2x1.2 x 2m tent, 600w hps cooltubed hood, 4inch can fan, with 6inch exhaust, couple of circulating fans.
4 strains - kali mist, purple orange cbd, chocolopez and Franco’s lemon cheese!
All grown in supersoil!

The picture attached is of the lemon cheese a week or so ago... il upload some of the others shortly.
During the early stages of the grow, it suffered serious heat stress, temps up to 46c, usually between 28-38, way too hot and I’m wondering if perhaps it’s caused the lemon cheese to hermie...
perhaps you can see from the close up shot of the nug. Seeds developing.
Also the plant and some of the others have been producing numerous yellow lower leaves recently.
Il upload a photo of said leaves.
Been feeding with compost teas molasses and a little liquid potassium/phosphorous.
Perhaps fed a little much?

Thanks for any info, advice etc it’s very much appreciated! Peace

Also second issue encountered is the kali mist is mid week 5 flower and still barely showing signs of pistil growth and bud development.
A little worried, perhaps light leakage could be the cause, a few holes in the tent leak light, perhaps it’s enough to prevent flowering... ?
Once again thanks for the help people!

Just to show you the indoor purple orange cbd, currently nice dense nugs with heaps of orange hairs, few yellow leaves but other than that all seems ok...

You may want to check your girls for pests...

Otherwise, a few yellow leaves, does not a grow make. You're sort of locked in with the type of grow you have going (super soil) anyhow. I think I'd just see them through to harvest, note whatever deficiencies you may come across, as you do and attempt to amend your super soil recipe for the future so you don't experience the same issues. Overall though your plants don't look bad...maybe a smidge over fed. Not bad though...just double check for pests. Good luck.

Thanks heaps man! Yes I thought they looked a little overfed... that’s what I thought it’s not ideal to flush supersoil I guess, any thoughts on the lemon cheese going hermie? It seems to be developing seeds and pistils still poking out where the seeds growing it’s rather strange! Any thoughts? Cheers also here’s a few from today, Il take some in better light at some point 9B5C2A1D-5971-4597-9C33-A4749C99D8CE.jpeg43A56FFA-BB23-40E2-865D-1ABA1CAB24A7.jpegF6743B99-9F5C-464F-8ED0-46824CB9BA22.jpeg4B3991FD-BF96-483A-AA87-2788B41F5F79.jpegA30D378F-3AA1-4619-8CB9-43C664A86288.jpegE45A626F-B41F-470E-A4EC-7468403D7835.jpeg

Here’s a couple in better light to give you an idea about the possible hermie? Cheers unsure whether to rip it out or not CBDD11DD-309F-4E19-A5A9-AE1B750BC6FB.jpeg9F9576D9-1703-4C3E-B114-6EA44D0F9F78.jpegF76C0617-87D0-4B69-B3D1-45FB7BF79997.jpeg
Franco’s lemon cheese (possible hermie)

Figured the mites were on you. Good luck with that battle. They are MoFo's

Your plants don't look too bad otherwise. It's true your heat episode could have caused your one plant to hermie, though from the pictures I'm not sure I see 'it'. It looks more like a bud that's just trying to fill in and develop. If you really think it's a hermie, and it's blowing up the top cola with seed, the participating 'male' flowers should be easily spotted in your grow. If you diligently look and you can't find any male flowers, well...

Good luck.

Thanks for your reply bro! I know perhaps I’m just paranoid but if you feel the bud feels hard like a green under developed seed, it’s weird, have had a look and cannot see any male flowers...
mites are a bitch! Used all sorts of methods, diatamaceous earth, milk spray, alcohol water solution, chilli spray, soap spray, search and destroy! Haha, but all seem too work for a bit then bam!!
Hope to hold them off until harvest...
Fingers crossed it can be pulled off! Thanks for your input mate much appreciated!

That looks a whole lot like the unknown lemon strain that I like and grow a lot... It throws nanners and seeds frequently too, but the smoke is killer and I always have a few seeds to grow out later... Not a big deal for me at all.. Also maybe some heat stress there? Might be reason for the nanners possibly...

Edit, I do see you mentioned heat stress early on, but that heat stress looks like it's still at the top to me with those curled edges on those leaves... Just a little bit anyway maybe. Could be something else I suppose.

My understanding is some strains from some breeders aren't always stable. I had a lemon kush i bought from herbies a couple of years ago (cant remember breeder) that all Hermied, they were in the same environment as a few other strains i had going at the same time that did not. Even though they Hermied and chucked out a few seeds (picked 11 off one plant) the yield was big, the smell was beautiful and very resinous! I grew the Hermied seeds out and they too Hermied. Found out later on that a Hermied seed will produce a Hermied plant if grown in the same conditions..... And yes light leaks most likely will Hermied a plant due to stress. Maybe go into tent when lights go off, let your eyes adjust and look for any light leaks. Apparrently even a little led light from a heater or whatever can count as a light leak. Tape over it. Make sure it's completely dark. That's just my experience. Hope it helps. Otherwise they look good to me. Maybe a touch of mag deficiency??? But looks good!!

Cannot see either yet but Il keep looking! Thanks bro! And yeah man they don’t give up! Thanks for all your replies super appreciated! Also, do it looks like it’s only just maybe starting to flower now, and it’s week 6 day 1, weird all other plants are fully in flower, I know kali mist is a long flowering strain but Jesus, feel like it won’t be ready until Christmas! Haha, I stood inside the tent yesterday to see about light leakages, it’s pretty damn dark in there, there is however some light coming through the flap with all cables coming through... perhaps Kali is just more sensitive to light leakage? Thanks again people! Peace

Update, Kali is finally starting to show some hairs! Only just though! And the seeds don’t really seem to be developing so perhaps I was wrong... was suppose to have inspection yesterday but the agency forgot and now don’t seem to make it a priority so they sat in the dark for a day no receiving non ideal light.... maybe next week before inspection happens so who knows unsure what to do whether to setup and pack down again or just hang the light somewhere with a fan for now until they’ve fucked off! Also the magnesium deficiency? Are people sure it’s magnesium? Yellow leaves keep coming the plant is getting thin! The leaves Turn yellow and then drop off easily, lower leaves, any ideas? Should I leave it or try to adjust? Cheers people peace!

LOWER yellowing leaves dropping off is usually lack of nitrogen. Do most of the leaves on the plant look light green? If so I'd say nitrogen deficiency. But be careful in flower as just a little bit too much nitrogen can stunt bud development. (Just saw above photos lol) yep they look hungry!! Also expect leaves to start yellowing towards end of flower! And watch your temps/how close you have light as that leaf edge curl is a bit of heat stress!
