Actually for the germination, I put them in some damp paper towel between two ceramic kitchen plates on top of the router (the heat from the router was constant and perfect).
For the cloning I'm definetly doing that in the future but I only had seeds from the kit I bought.
I bought the seeds here in spain I believe they are spanish breeds ( pretty sure that the cream caramel is and has a lot of recognition over here)
The seeds are feminised so I should end up with only females. I'll make sure though because I'm really paranoid about males lol.
I'm leaving for the summer so in september I'll set up a nice cloning system with a couple of mothers of my favourite bud.
My grow op is a 4x4x6.5' tent, a couple of vents for intake and extraction, a 600w HPS with a normal ballast (not electronic) and some pre nuted soil for vegetation.
I've also got some bloombastic nutes (a kind of complete basic kit with something for every stage)
As for the technique, I'll just veg until end of february (about a month) and then put them on flowering.
I dont really want to worry about cloning or anything fancy since I'm still learning quite a bit and want to get comfortable with the rest of the process first.
I've read quite a bit about the subject but I'll be investing in a more pro setup and some good books as soon as I harvest this and get a bit of money back (quite broke ATM :S)
Thanks so much for you input man, it's nice to see that other people are really into it too
Cheers
