haha yes, the trunk deformed the netpot lid, and actually the growth in the netpot has literally broke the netpot netting in many spots, luckily no hydroton has fell out yet... anyways heres the update...

kk, g/f readied a bucket to get the ppm up to about 900 in the res tomorrow... everything is cool, temps/ph/ec hasnt changed so im not gonna bother posting... the big news is, my plants now have buds forming all over. also, the azamax did work and killed the fuck out of everything, my girl looked over the plants today and could only find one mite that was possibly moving... im ridiculously excited that my plants are now officially budding, its got me all geeked... also, all of my clones have shown roots of some sort or another, and are all doing fine... theres some slight yellowing on the clones that have really pumped out nice roots fast, i think its probably because we went up north and werent able to mist the plants for 36 hours or whatever... either way, they are fine, and soon will be banging with shit tons of new growth... im going to have her change the res in that, and up the ppm to 250-350 so we can get them rolling... the two clones taken from the plant in the middle are rooting the slowest, and i think im just going to be done with that one as it has grown slow and now the clones are growing slow... anyways, heres the pictures:

nope no supercropping, that just grew like that...

cloner res change is coming up, g/f is going to be cleaning res with h2o2, and water will be nuted to 350 ppm, and ph of 5.85...

everything else is looking cool, plenty of dead ass mites...

g/f said cloner res smelled like shit so she sterilized it with h2o2, bless her she is amazing! she also soaked the clones roots in h2o2 in seperate cups, when i get home im going to treat them with physan20, and hopefully transplant 2 of the clones to dirt for mother plants, the rest of them i plan on getting another t5 and putting them straight into flower after i make them another reservoir out of a cooler... also, my tote bubble cloner is gettin tossed, im using nothing but coolers from now on, too hard to keep the temp stable in a tote...

possibly picking up another t5 very soon, definitely picking up 2-3 more 600w around december/january... t5 is gonna be so i can have some clones ready at all times. im goin on vacation at the beginning of december for 2 weeks with my girl to the islands, so i dont think im gonna have my 600w goin at that time, and will start again immediately upon return...

full time (60-80 hours/weekly) job, full time credits online for college, and managing a medical grow while being on the road for work is a tad bit crazy...

What type of reflective material is that near the base of the plants?

reflective tape, some reflective tape is opaque, some is not, keep that in mind if you are going to use some to assist in light proofing. the reflective tape on my bubble cloner is not light proof, so i spray painted to make it light proof... however i think light is leaking in through my airline hoses and causing algae...

little update here, kk, so have confirmed there was algae/fungus or some shit growin in my bubble cloner, so i got some physan20, and soaked the roots in a solution with that for 3 mins, then transplanted them to a mix of 75% light warrior, 25% ocean forest, both by fox farm... i got a pot to plant my mother, whomever the best out of this bunch is, and am thinking about switching to dirt for the next cycle, and then maybe come back in mid next grow with a second and third tent with 2 more 600w digitals, prolly lumatek... either way in the big tent all is going well, looked over the leaves and it looked like the second wave of mites was hatching so hit the whole job with azamax, and may fog tomorrow, but i think the azamax will have it sorted... prepared the res change stuff, and used grow to try to get rid of it, and because of its relatively good P-K ratings, supplemented K with pro-tekt, and AN nirvana, may boost P midweek, but i doubt it... ppm's are 1050, and ph is 5.85... going to beginning swinging P numbers higher this week though because all res top offs will be with bloom food... looks like there is buds starting up everywhere, definitely vegged too long... had to tie down 2 nodes, and am eying up 3-4 others to tie down tomorrow, hoping the parts that are lagging will catch up. it is definitely a jungle and im hoping i dont end up with a shit-ton of popcorn bud... anyways heres some pics!:





i would also like to add, ive found growing in a large cooler to be very very easy, however the res changes are a pain in the ass, albeit an infrequent one.. i may do an organic soil grow for the hell of it and for it to be easy on my girlfriend...

im gonna get some closeups tomorrow, and pics of the clones... would have liked to take pictures of the cleaning of the clones with the physan20, but it was just a lot easier for me to do the transplant without taking any breaks...

Got a question about your coolers.....is there a way you could remove the original drain spout and possibly drill it out and install a 1/2" bulkhead fitting???? would make drainage much much easier....I have my res.(its a tote now but switching to a cooler soon prob.) elevated on 5gal. buckets and gravity will drain 15gal. through the 1/2" fitting in about 10min..........just wondering!!! Grow looks serious....SCROG is the shit.....my tent is a fkn jungle too.....I just finished week 5 flower and ohh so frosty.....how many weeks flower are you now???

to answer your question, i would not move the drain plug, what i would do is buy a cooler with threads for a hose, and then buy an adapter...

im currently at the end of my second week since i flipped 12/12... today i did a large amount of pruning, there was way too many small budsites, and much too dense, i had leaves that were hurting each other so i cleaned it up a bit, also last night sprayed with azamax... today i found no mites that were living...

did res change today, all went smooth, got some pics of roots, they look bad in the pics, but they are healthy and slightly tan colored from some additives... anyways, heres the pics:






also, clones took transplant well..

How come your screen is so low? I thought just the colas where suppost to pop through? Thats a nice setup props

well the screen kinda shifted 3-4 inches lower because of fans i attached to the frame, but most of it above it is because of a huge ass stretch... that and i veg'd for about 1-2 weeks too long, which is why i pruned so much today...

i had dedicated about 6 months to in-depth reading and planning how i was gonna do everything, that and i had some critical help in identifying spider mites that would have destroyed my plants before they had a chance to veg... also, i have had some good help from good people with advice when i thought things were going wrong... also, my girlfriend has managed to keep em alive while i am out of town... lol yesterday she said: "i feel bad because i dont know if im doing enough while youre gone, cause i never dedicate as much time, or do the things you do when you get home"... however, she has done a couple res changes, and thats big enough with 25 gallons of water, and she keeps the ph and ec in check, so shes doing good... took some closeups of some buds today, of the ones that are kinda out of super bright light so they would hopefully come out somewhat better than the ones in the hps directly...




i think most of the success comes from me buying what i needed to make it happen, and paying attention to my plants and adjusting to changes... that and using coolers, i will say that the cooler reservoir is probably one of the best things in my setup... temps never sway, which is good when my girlfriend has two jobs, and i work on the road and take full-time credits in online courses... that being said, ive got a bunch of homework to do now lol...

clones are doing ok, think i got a bit of burn from foliar feeding, but they are responding well overall to the dirt transplant i think. did res maintenance, dropped the ph from 6.0-5.85, should be smooth sailing now... temps and everything are the same, humidity 40%. buds are growing and smell like grapefruit, gonna update pics tonite or tomorrow.

well, everything seems to be a-ok. decided to doktor doom fogger my grow tonite, mainly as preventative maintenance since im taking off and my girlfriend would rather me do that than for her to have to go through and kill mites if they were to come back... res was at 1100 ppm, and i believe it was around 950-1000, and my plants are drinkin crazy water... i decided to add 5 gallons of ph'd tap water today without nuting just to ease em back so hopefully i can get it to not need adjustment for the week... clones are kinda funky lookin with the old leaves dying off on a few, new stuff is lookin good, but im waiting a week to post pics. took some pics today, was kinda curious about one of the top fans coming off what will be a cola, looks droopy and kinda upside down canoe style about halfway out on the leaf. noticed this on some very small new growth near buds lower, but nothing that looks too serious, everything else is looking amazing. still any input on that phenomena would be great, i thought that it could have been from the azamax bath everything got but i dunno... anyways, heres some pics:

ph was 5.7 and 950ppms, raised ph to 5.8. last night i fogged with a dr doom fogger and everything looks pretty good so far, no signs of any added stress that i can see. clones are coming along, clipped the dead leaves off today. next planned res change will probably be on sunday, i want to boost the p-k and start weening the plants off of N, feeding this week will raise p-k as well. noticed a couple other nodes springing ahead of the other growth, may tie em back slightly, but i think we will just watch what they do for the next couple days. plants are about 14" away from the glass of my hood, but seeing no stress, plan on moving the light up an inch in a day or so, really want to control the stretching, so im not in a hurry to move the light.
