scrog - i've never tucked it back through. i suppose this would work for some strains but, like the hindu kush ive got or even the sfv, the stems won't want to be that flexible. i'd rather have stocky fat stems anyway. be lazy.
the blue dream will stretch. i always figure 30% and it was about right every time. but that's starting at like 1 - 2' tall. no idea what will happen with that big one. let's find out!
tea shouldn't raise your ppm much if at all. remember ppm is measuring "salts". microbes wont show on this, neither should much else of what's in the tea. in my case, molasses will show, and a bit of runoff from the ewc, but it's rarely more than 10 or 20ppm. similarly, ph shouldn't be affected much either. especially if you ph the water to start the brew with, but even if not (i dont), just remember it's the same ph as whatever you'd be adding back anyway. the content of the tea isn't going to change your ph much if at all.
just remember the point of the tea is to take small bits of expensive additives and breed their contents out. i wouldn't sweat adding things like liquid karma, add that on its own. only put stuff in the tea that has got microbes in it, dont think liquid karma does. really though, it doesn't matter much. put in some of whatever, let it breed for a day or two, whalla .. tea.

destroyed my phone when a garden hose under pressure went berserk in the grow room. full on blasting everywhere, straight up at the light in the tent mostly! phone sacrificed itself to save the day and is shot, so pics asap. wouldn't believe the mess in here, pretty damn funny. soaked me completely to the bone, water everywhere in the tent and all around. what a total mess but everything survived.
new setup is all in place. looks and works beautifully. had a few kinks to work out but overall the setup looks really nice and i have a feeling we're in for something fun.
4 plants, 85ish gallons total in the system. adding drippers now. sfv went into the tent last night and this morning the best one looked horrible. added two drippers and 30 minutes later it looks like a champ again. never leaving home without drippers now. 2 per plant, they will remain on constantly. i'll cover the pots by making plastic covers from the plastic cuttings in the reservoir tops, should eliminate problems with fungus gnats or other stuff that might like the very moist hydroton.
details as soon as i can get pics going again.
no problems drying out the harvest. the stuff on the test rack went into a jar today. lid remains off for another couple days. the rest is in the drying cabinet doing great. 85f, 45%, so it's a hell of alot hotter in there than it should be but can't sweat it. can't control it right now, so no point in fretting about it. its drying faster than id like but it smells and looks great. im keeping a close nose out for a smell of hay or similar. it will go into jars this weekend.
