600w Alaskan Thunderfuck

Hey everyone im very proud to announce my first grow

This is a female plant i grew from seed from an Alaskan Thunderfuck nugget. It was outside for 6 weeks I brought it inside once I got this light a week ago and shes starting to fill out nicely under it.

Nutrients: BC Grow and BC Boost 900ppm
Water: distilled water
Soil: Black Gold coco blend
Lighting: 600w hps light with 6" cooltube
Space: 3x3x7' closet

I have a 250cfm ducter booster exhaust and temps soar above 100 if I dont keep the door open. I found out boosters suck so I have to get a inline fan damn they're expensive.

Temps stay at 80-84. Humidity starts at 60% and drops to 40% at the end of the day. Dont know the nighttime temp I should measure that. Anyways here some pics!

Can anyone tell me whats wrong with the leaf in picture 2? And some stems are turning purpleish redish, is that a problem?

Bought 98 rockwool plugs, clone gel, and pruning scissors. Im gonna let her grow til Sep 1 then take clones which i've never done before. Basics are soak the rockwool cubes for a day, cut prolly 4" of stem at a 45" angle, dip in root gel, pop in cubes, cfls, done. Right? I hope it goes that well

There was a delay but today she was cloned! I got the rockwool cubes nice and wet, cleaned a knife with rubbing alcohol, took clones, dipped them in root gel, put them in the cubes til they stuck in, and then put each one in a sandwich bag to keep humidity up

Nice first grow. So just one plant under there? Let us know how you like the bc nutes. Might use em on my next grow

Ty yep just one plant but I took 15 clones on saturday tho and the BC nutes seem to be working well so far cuz she's getting really big over 24" tall

Ill get more pics up in two weeks after the clones live or die

Mother is actually 30" tall and 2 of the clones have bit the dust there's still 13 left tho.

Hey dude....got some clones going of some ATF also!! hopefully its the same stuff i want to compare yours to mine!! ++ rep.

Im not sure how to tell if my clones are doing well or not.. its been a week and they're just sitting there. They dont look dead or dying but they do look a lil droopy. No new growth on them that I can tell. Are they doing ok? If they were gonna die, they would be dead already right? Its been 7 days

Ya dude droopy is cool i have some clones going and there all droopy too been like 4 days for me usually around day 10 there all perk'd up and should have some good roots!!!

But just depends on the strain and your clone med.

ATF is one of my main strains. Been growing it for about 6 years. Do not worry about the purple stems as that is natural in the strain. This strain has a great yield, so you should enjoy. It grows well in dirt, but it really loves hydro.

dang dude almost 2weeks no updates, lol. Well hopefully we see some pics, soon my plants are lookin good but these atf are sensitive to nutes it seems!!

yea my girl is sensitive too

i topped her haha down to 4 main branches only like 15 inches tall now. Im running to the hydro store to get a grow tent and better fan, veg for a week, then flowerrrrr. I suck at taking clones I think I have 1 survivor..

DR120, Canfan carbon filter and centrufigal fan, flexible ducting, BC Bloom. Applause.

I really dont trust these straps in the tent.. I think the fan could slip off at any time it seems! Actually it fell once already and there's a small hole in the bottom of my brand new tent bcuz of it!

I want my fan to turn on when it gets too hot, any suggestions for how to do that?
