We are really going to need A LOT more information than that. Grow space, strains, grow methods, soil/hydro, etc. Everything is variable, and everything will be dependent. There is no, "do it all, best method." Sometimes it comes down to personal preference, do you really need the response of complete strangers on the internet to dictate your purchase. Just because I like CFLs, and Johnny likes HID, means nothing. Maybe a question such as, "what are the adv. and disadvantages of HID vs. CFL lighting. Better yet, try the search feature.

I will however be productive here, and give you my $0.02. I feel like a mixture of HPS 2000-3000k and CFL 5000-6500k would provide a decent spectrum of light for flowering. Its not that this will be "better" or "worse", its just a suggestion that may increase yeilds. Keyword here is MAY, as everything is an experiment. Try to do a little experimenting, there is no tried and true, proven method that ALWAYS works for growing cannabis.

Should I use one 600 watts of HPS 2000k
Or
4X150 watts of CFL grow lights - 2700k

HELP ME THANKS

I think cfls would be better for veg...only because 600 watts of cfls...you could fit way more plants under 600 watts of cfls because you can space those cfl's out quite a bit. I would say hps for flower because the hps is a more intense better canopy penetrating light which will produce larger buds
