600 watt hps ebay buy is it safe??

I bought my 400w off of ebay over a year ago now, and I am still going without any issues. Although there are so many different people and businesses selling shit on ebay now a days.

Ballasts have come a long way - I've had 1/14 fail over a years time. Sometime you'll get a magnetic ballast that buzzes loud, or a shitty fan, but in general the cheap ones hold up pretty good.

I think OP's concern was more about LE than quality, though I could be wrong.

Ballasts are not used solely for growing weed.... I buy EVERYTHING hydro related (maybe 85%) on ebay. There is no worries whatsoever. I mean, my mailman and I are on first name basis because I receive so many packages.

Spend an extra $20 and get a decent ballast.

i have a family i need to keep safe to i dont rush into buying shit and go to jail what live my wife and 2 sons with out a father yea smartthats for all the post guys i think i might get it but still getting it sent to another house

just woundered about buying one off ebay yea it may have alot of good feed back but what to say yea they do send it to you you say a good review then 4 months later they have your name and address and your about to harvest and bam cops come knocking just what ive seen happen to a friend i dont even so whats the big deal yea im growing some pot but im not out dealing wtf cops just need to leave us pot heads alone

I have a 400w Dimmable Digital Ballast by a company called Revolt. It has held up well for me so far. I was paranoid about buying my stuff online as well, but I think you have more privacy like that than you do by going to a local hydo store that the cops probably sit around and scope out for customers. lol! Like I said, I haven't had any problems. You have to decide what you think is safe for yourself though and what precautions you want to take. You can never be to safe.

you can find the same thing for around the same price on amazon. ebay is great, but if either you or the seller leave each other any feedback, anybody can pull up your profile and see all of the items you've purchased within the last 90 days. as for the light, i have the same one, but i've only been running it for a couple weeks so couldn't really comment much on the quality. no complaints so far, though.

I wouldn't worry about it. The people selling those products are just trying to make money and have no interest in traveling from California to rip off a 600w grow. I have bought many items for my garden online and never had any issues. I actually have this light, it has worked great so far, no issues with it. I got mine on amazon and it came with a crappy timer (still works fine) also.

This vendor's auctions are not private. The item sold to you will be shown on his feedback page. I try to find private auctions so everyone doesn't know what I buy.
Of course if you don't send feedback , it won't show.
