60 days OF flowerin... Expert opinions please... I say 3 days away.oh BTW No nutes at all for this

I have another pheno of some so called kush a buddy gave me 2 weeks from ready. But this baby has had no nutes, 600w hps, 5g buckets of organic mix, I say 3 days away i would like some experienced growers in put. I have no trichome pics but I just wanted some in put. And maybe a pat on the back since I ran this experiment with absolutely no nutes except what was in my mixture.

1-2 weeks

2 weeks maybe more IMO

Get a microscope and see the trics yourself, clear is not ready white to amber = ready to harvest, above is many immature flowers not even buds yet

I know about the trichomes and how to judge them based on that. I've never used a microscope and actually the the old school heads that taght me how to grow don't use them either. Back in 09 when I started I had only heard of that technique in hightimes. when I got outta jail 3 yrs ago that seems to be the concensus on judging plants. But I've talked to people even on here that don't use microscopes to harvest. Thanks for the input though I really just wanted to see what 5+ yr growers would look at it and say. I personally have it marked on my calender as may 5th to harvest or start checking for harvest. But I'll check and see starting sun. may even use the scope for shits and giggles. I expected to hear betwenn 1-2 weeks from most responders, which means a week for my taste. Thanks guys I'll post the verdict when I'M READY

they don't look any where near ready to me, even with out a mic you should be able to tell when they're getting ready.. the pistils will all recede back in to the buds, the calyxs will swell all nice and pretty like, often times they'll start to foxtail at the top colas.. the entire plant just takes on a different look that simply screams i'm ready, all of which are easily observable by eye..
now if you want to know when exactly to chop them by how you like your trics, that's when a mic comes in handy.. imo,once you've harvested a few grows and get and eye for what to look for, you might only have to use a mic once or twice just to double check what the rest of the plant is telling you...
saying all of that, i'd say you've probably got a good 3 weeks or so left on them imvho..

Nice words.. I'm gonna take a pic on saturday because I have about 40% pistols have changed color 50-60 percent starting shrivel. Of the 40% of changed pistols 1/4 are receding into the calyx. The problem here and I should of stated this, the sister who was next to her had hernied exactly 3 pollen sacs on lower branches so naturally the calyxs at the bottom now have seeds in them which are all but bursting out I mean the calyxs have split. The top is fine maybe a seed here or there, but those calyxs have swollen up. This is my first time pregnating some ladies so it I might not be used to the development but she morphed the past week. And actually her sister looks 3 weeks out easy and were started same time. In fact the sister is bent down and has 3in easy on the one picture. But the 1 up there in the pic has changed a lot in the past 2 weeks and you guys say 2-3 more weeks which mean the other will take 5-6. That put em at 11 weeks for the pic and 14 for the other. WTf sativa phenos have I raised here. and some incestual lesbians at that.. Thanks racer sorry for the rambling. I need a light

Ok so after stalking my plants for a few days I can see they're still not ready. probably another 2 weeks like you guys said, I can see the calyx still swelling and new flower growth. Thanks for the bud check guys. I'll keep ya posted over the next couple weeks.

def, agree with the rest, not even close, but they look like they'll be nice an beefy in about 14-20 days

Thanks man I checked them today and they're getting beefy. 1 IS STIL 3-4 WEEKS BEHIND ..Either because it's the hermie or because it is a strong sativa pheno. The pic from last Thurs. so I'll post a pic this thurs night but I'm sure it won't be ready then either.

Just to let you know these aren't ready either, pic for comparison 67 days in flower cycle We don' have mass flowers yet, but they're coming I've seen this before, hang in there!

I'm not flushing.. Im using soil.. I posted I'm not using nuts for these 2 plants.

My other is bigger in terms of size and flower but many more pistols and almost none have turned color. It's easiley 2 weeks behind the one I posted. I'm not sure why the only reason I can think beside seperate phenos id 1 was hermie and the other female

What kind of water? I think my lady gets good stuff from the Spring water even only 39 ppm

You definitely got a sativa pheno,you can tell by the thin fan leaves.the plant is beautiful though bro.i usually can tell when my buds are done by the goldish tinge the buds get because of the amber trichomes.i learned that from my mom she's a grower from way back.good luck bro!

i think it's because the number two most common mistake for new growers is pulling it early, wouldn't you agree?
the number one most common, being over-attention (mucking with ph and feeding too much)

My biggest mistake starting out was overfeeding burnt all my plants and it was sad looking baCK CAUSE i HAD THE WHITE MIX FROM GREENHOUSE back in 09 with the white widow and rhino that I completely ruined by burning and pulling early... the sativas for me are hard to master they seem very needy and sensitive. I have however started cutting lower branches that pollinated with a hermie. they all look uniform and hard, brown and striped.. hopefully they mostly female and not hermie but these are the first seeds I ever made. I'll post a pic.

In day 69, as everyone said she still has another week or so, she budding up nice. I'm getting antsy but I can hold out. tHE LAST 2 PICS ARE the other plant that hermied but its 3 weeks behind for some reason maybe but shes tower the other. Do have any takers on final yield?
