Hey beautiful plants!!! I'm about to start some F WW's of my own and was wondering about plant size. Did you use 3 gallon or what size and how tall approx. did your plants grow? Thanks!!

The tallest plant is about 1 metre (bout 3 feet) from the soil. Average about 80cms (bout 2 and a half feet).

They are in 6.5 litre pots (I dont know the conversion). I screwed up by putting them in smaller pots in vegging. I had to re pot them for flowering. They got through it OK, just gonna remember to put them in bigger pots from the start.

Mine vegged for 5 weeks cause of the potting error. Its wierd, the runt of the lot which looked terrible during vegging, is now the tallest and most stacked with buds out of all of them.

Good luck with your grow.

Me again!! lol just another quick question. I'm paranoid at the distance I should leave between my plants and the light, what distance did you use and how often did you move the light ?

I was always told, if you can hold your hand under the light without burning it - its OK for the plants. I kept to about 20 - 40cm throughout and never had any issues with burning or curling leaves.

I blew a fan at the bulb as well, it lowered the temperature and enabled me to get the light closer.

Good luck.

Just water.

At last I am beginning to see cloudy trichomes. Not many, but they are increasing so its not long. I was beginning to think they would never mature.

I was beginning to think this day would never come. I spent the entire day stripping and trimming all the plants. They are all labelled and hung to dry in the Budbox.

I got cloudy trichomes on all the plants. 2 of them started to get too many amber so I had to pull them all. I only have my Budbox to dry them in and there is nowhere else in the flat to do it. They absolutely stink, I mean completely stink the whole place out everytime I open the Budbox. I left it as long as I dared. I checked with the microscope every day.

I was gonna take pics of them all individually - but I was so tired after trimming them all day, I didnt bother.

Here are some pics of them drying in BudBox. You can see the difference in the plants. They are all feminised White Widow from Dutch Passion but they all seemed to finish at different times -and so very late! 79 days! I went when the plants were ready. :weed:

Hi SS. wow, that is a long wait at 79 days. I'm writing coz Im also waiting on WW from DP. It's now 60 days since going 12/12. I thought it'd be done by 8 weeks. hmmmm.

If I do WW, i'd probably try from a differnt breeder.

enjoy the bounty of ur labors.

man, its a fuckin beautiful sight to see somebody that really has a greenthumb make somethin happen like this. Youve got a knack for growin pot sir, and you should never stop doin it - youd be doin a service to your pot smokin community to keep up the good work man :D

I hope my babies grow out to be even 3/4 that full n lush n good lookin man. It seems that my girls are more pistil and less calyx though - hopefully theyll stack up soon though ;) Reguardless man, your girls grew like a champ - dont hold out on the smoke report after cure bro ;)

i concur!!!LOL!!!
Very lovely harvest, any idea on wet weight yet?
I was gonna weigh them wet but I thought, whats the point. Its dry weight that matters. Plus, I had been trimming all day - i was so tired with a bad back from leaning and twisting around the plants.

I will post dry weight as soon as I know.

Apparently, you count the days from your first pre flower and not the time you went to 12/12.

I'll remember this next time. Dutch Passion are very reputable - I dont think its the seeds, just misinformation.

Thx for resonding SS. I didn't realize until just now that u were growing in soil. I've read somewhere that growing in soil can add a week or more to the time it takes the plants to ripen. My DP WW is growing hydroponically in a PC Planter. I posted pics of it in another thread called PC Planter, so any any of you reading this would like to check it out, it would be easy to hunt downthe pics.

I agree that DP has a good rep... in my experience, all the feminized WW seeds that I got from them turned out female, and more-or-less what I ordered. But somehow, it didn't quite meet my expectations. It just didn't seem as resinous or "white" as I was expecting. I read in Ed Rosenthal's "Big Book of Buds vol.1" that WW was originally developed by Greenhouse, and Greenhouse is the breeder that won the Cannabis Cup for WW. I attached a pic of their WW, and the trichomes on the plant are jaw-dropping. I just wonder how different a WW grow would be from a different breeder.

But then again, we both might be too stoned to care from what we got anyways. :bigjoint:
