Well, I'm not going to take credit for what I say because one of my partner's old friends came by and noticed our setup and gave us some advice:

He said that blowing fans on your plants will strengthen the root system and the stalk because the plant's working on facing the light.

Perhaps this is true?
Thanks 4tha reply as I did happen2hear 0f this as well and believe that it is really good for when vegging and if have a S0G(sea 0f green). I read somewhere that you shouldn't blow air on plants directly for too long when flowering due to trichomes and 0r pistils(white hairs) being sensitive to light 0r sumthin like that!. I don't really understand but hey, that's what I read. However! 0ne time during vegging on 0ne hot summer day I had my fan blowing in my room while my plants were in the cl0set(shut);(also room door shut) and when I returned home4rm work I opened the door to my room and noticed how hot it was4rm the fan blowing hot air around the room and got scared that my plants were probably dehydrated. As soon as I opened the closet I noticed my CheeseWreck plant had grew bigger as if it was happy thriving off of the heat. I now keep my lady in my bathroom during light hours as it has an Hps light up in there. Bathroom isn't big but I tend to keep a fan blowing in there with the door slightly cracked so that it can blow hot air, mimicking the sun and breeze. Sum days I feel I don't need to as some days aren't as hot. Plus I have space considering I don't have much plants(1 now) so it breathes well. I personally don't like keeping fan directly on plants because it cools the temperature which I don't want, 0NLY if it's crazy HOT, ya dig!

Some of the shit you people post is ridiculous. You all need a BOOK from a REAL author.
What book are you studying 4rm if you don't mind telling? I've been studying via a book titled "Growing Elite Marijuana", also a book4rm the hydroponic store(free), which is really gd!, and of course '0nline'. Note: you can give someone the best book in the world and yet everyone will view it in a different way s0, it all boils down to knowledge and common-sense.

Well I guess u and me will just have to agree to disagree cause I still think if u let ur plants veg until they show preflowers will help u get the full potential out of ur plants. U have to remember too my plants have only been on a 12/12 cycle for 2 weeks now so I'll post more pics here in a month so we can get a better comparison on our ways of growing. Lol DJ if ur really DJ Burn and u live in Socal I'm laugh my ass off, I only say that cause he has a very similar dog.
I always let my plants veg out for a couple two or three months, yes indoors, before I switch the photoperiod. They ALWAYS show preflowers way before I get ready to start flowering, so I can discard any males. I too think that is a more natural way to grow, and that it gives the plants the opportunity to reach their full potential. It's kinda like, do you want your kid to just have their GED, or wouldn't you RATHER them earn a college degree? And, furthermore, growing with CFL's is only going to give you so much. Until you can grow outdoors or have a nice HID setup with temp control and supp CO2, you'll never see what could be. But, if all you can afford is CFL's, then grow on! There's nothing wrong with that. It just makes guys like me wish they could be like Santa Claus, and drop a HPS and a MH down every CFL grower's chimney, so they could see the difference it makes. Mabye SOME strains are different and won't show signs of sex until under a 12/12 schedule, but in my experience with GDP, Trainwreck, Pineapple Express, Panama Red, Chemdog, Master Kush, and every other strain I've ever grown, or helped grow, those have ALWAYS shown sex under 18/6, generally after around two months of initial growth.

Irie Genetics:
Is that picture you have up for your profile a pic of a plant your currently growing? If so, what stage is it in and how tall is it? I wanted to grow naturally for my 1st time s0 that I wouldn't mess up anything and by the looks of my plant(vertical), I feel that my bud should swell up like that and others who have similar type style.
