6 weeks in to flower, 1st grow

Just wondering if you think these will fatten up, also do those orange hairs mean a bit of light damage as they're just on top, or is it just a sign they're maturing. Rough estimate on how long they have left, they will probably finish at different times because different strains, 3 x special queen, 1 x critical, 1 x northern lights all from RQS

i think they will slightly fatten up a little more.

the pistils turn orange because i believe that is their life cycle they are trying to catch pollen to seed but non present and it will continue to shoot out more white pistils over time and i think might slow down and possibly stop shooting out pistils. i heard different strains don't always turn orange fast either or at all. if they start to fox tail that is when you could consider heat/light issues. i read fox tails can be caused by too much light ( intensity wise probably ) heat for sure.

if 6weeks of flower from flip you got a ways more to go. 6weeks of flower counting from actual flower i would highly assume 2-3 weeks at least depending on the strains.

im still learning about flowering myself so take my stuff with a grain of salt wait for others more experienced to give you better info but i think 2-3weeks is a good guess for how much time you got at the very least until harvest if based on actual flowering.

It looks like one of the plants in the front of the third picture is a bit farther along then the rest. It might have 1-2 weeks. From these pictures I would say the others have 3-4 weeks most likely. SOme strains will mature faster or slower, and your environment has a big impact on it too.

My current batch of plants got SUPER delayed by cold weather. They went into the flower room under 12/12 light around Jan1 and still have another 1-2 weeks on most of them.... These are plants I've ran for years, and that typically are fully matured in 8-10 weeks(depending on strian). The transition period took 3 weeks this time because of the cold, so flowering didn't start till the very end of Jan when it was all said and done.

lol i figured i give my 2cents at least i shouldn't be though still learning so i gotta say that so people know take my advice lightly as i could be wrong. i'll get there some day.. give me a year maybe

All seemed like pretty solid advice to me, thanks for all the info Lethidox, really enjoying growing as a hobby and this forum is so helpful

yea it is a fun hobby. listen to thundercat though he is smart and has helped me in my current grow and previous grows as well. im still learning when it comes to flowering veg phase is nothing to me just tweaking stuff here and there but flowering phase i still need a lot more practice to know exactly what im doing.

That's such a long time!! My dads doing his first grow and his are taking ages to go in to flower from 12/12 I'm guessing its because of the cold, his garage drops so much at night. Do they finish at different times even if they are the same strain sometimes? Thanks for the info, appreciate it

Yeah I'm putting alot of research in to drying and when to harvest, the harvesting bit is the most confusing to me so I will probs just post again in a week or something and get some advice again. Yeah thundercat seems to know his shit

Even if they are from the same strain, and the same batch of seeds you will get genetic variation. So it's very common to get a few different phenotypes even just from a 10 pack of seeds. The different phenotypes can finish at different times, hell they can grow completely differently sometimes.
