just need abit of advice if it will work , i have 2 x 4" carbon filters a 4" ruck an a 6" ruck i dont want intake i just want to use extraction, what i want to do is put my 6" ruck fan on a 6" t-piece with 2 x 6-4" reducers on the ends of the t-piece an put my 2 x 4" carbon filters on them so my 6" fan will be pulling air through the 2 4" filters if you catch me,i have a twin fan controller so i can dim it down ,will this work the fan pulss 680m3/hr an the filters run at about 190 m3/hr so if i turn the extractor dimmer about 3/4's up should it work??
asking as i dont want to pull the air too fast an it not get cleaned any advice appreciated

I'm guessing the backpressure of the filters is going to drop the effective cfm of your main fan a bit- I'm not sure dimming the fan is entirely necessary because I'm not sure the pressure your fan can produce. My thought is that given the filters, the actual output of the fan (esp if it's pulling air through a goofy air reflector or two) is going to be closer to the suggested throughput of the two filters

Also just test things out- can you maintain temperature/circulation with the dimmer? If so great! If not- can you maintain reasonable odor levels without it?

Because at the end of the day thats all that really counts
