ya there lookin good. when you transplant though id up the perlite amount quite a bit. that dirt looks pretty thick and compacted, so it will be hard for water to drain, air to get to the roots, and roots to push through the soil. the more drainage and airation the better so just keep that in mind

I think so, I just started my grow. I am a 1st timer.
I am just growing some bag seed as on my 1st grow I bought seeds from the UK (80.00) and I killed them all.
I am growing 1 PK Kush and that is doinf well. I must also say I tried a hydro system the 1st time. I am now in soil.
But I have mine about 2" away from my plants, I have 4 2700k CFL lights on 20/4 lighting I will take pics and post later.

how far along are yours spinnr3 cause 2700k is used during flowering it is recommended to use 5000k-6500k fir vegging, and the soil was lightly put it, it ha very little perlite mixture used scotts potting soil, comes with 6 months of nutrients in the soil ( yeah right ) but the water drainage isnt half bad, dirt is moderately dry by half a day, i spray the surface of the dirt ( not the plant dont want to tumble them over and break the stem ) till its fairly moist, the water has also a long way to go in the party cups, and yes ik the dirt gets compacted when watering. idk what to transplant them into becuase i will be using a small grow area just over a foot talll or so, its a micro grow in a college dorm, so im thinking of SCORG, idk if thts the right orientation of the word. but im hoping to train them to be short and fat

its scrog
and u should have done research before buying seeds if u wanted to grow u shoulda used bag seeds cause ull kill a few plants from not using enough airation and overwatering
ull want them to grow faster and faster and ull think well if i give them more water theyll get bigger and it wont work the way u planned i know from exsperience how deadly too much of a good thing can be

ya theyll be fine. id just go to walmart or some shit and get a few of those little like sand toy buckets for kids. there like 5 inches tall and 5 inches wide, those shuld work fine. but id transplant when shes like 6 or 7 inches tall and literally as soon as you transplant, start to flower. the plant will easily almost double in size once you begin flowering so be carful with the space

You're not going to break the stems if you spray the plants, but I'd skip the spraying and water every other day or when the cups feel really light and are all but dry. Seedlings especially, are less sensitive to low water levels since they use less than a mature plant with more size, so if you want faster growth, leave them be until the cups feel really light then give them a splash of water. Especially with MG soil, you don't ever want to water more often than you need to, since every time you do it releases more nutrients.

Your lumens are not at 3200 because lumens do not add up with additional bulbs. Adding additional bulbs rated at 1500 or so will only improve your coverage area, but for seedlings or early vegging it should do just fine. For decent quality bud you'll want to up your grow to a 125W CFL or more (one would probably be plenty for 3 short plants) which will give you right around 8000 lumens. The links I'm providing are to 2700K bulbs for flowering, so if you wanted to purchase one for vegging also then look elsewhere on the sites I've linked to or etc. for 6500K bulbs.

125W CFL - 8000 lumens - $37.99 + shipping

125W CFL - 7000 lumens - $28.28 + shipping

FYI, those bulbs should both use a MOGUL size socket, which means to use them in a standard sized socket you'll need a medium-mogul adapter or a cord with a mogul socket on the end of it. Both are readily available on many sites including eBay.

Looks like you're off to a decent start, hope they're girls and good luck/be safe!

Happy growing ;)

That's better, but still not quite the same thing mate. The bulbs I linked to are equal to over 1000W of incandescent light, and those say around 575W equivalent, meaning the lumen output would be close to half of what I listed at 7-8K, in theory. They're said to be 23cm long while the ones I listed are 34.29 cm long (13.25") and etc. They'd be a huge step up from the little ones he's using now though, double or even close to triple the lumens I'd wager. Depending on where the OP is located though, the bulbs on eBay are 220V so depending on that he might need a bit different flavour of those. I can't be bothered to check atm as I'm too knackered and about to head off to bed! lol, catch you all later!
