5th grow, northern lights and cheese

Hi people, been wanting to make a journal. Im almost done with flowering the cheese and northern lights, going by my schedual, the cheese will be ready for harvest before the northerns are. I will be taking pics tonight to show what stage there are at. And im after a second opinion on if the cheese are ready yet.

Ive had time to do a quick sketch of my room to begin with

I Grew Blue cheese before, really good smoke. best of my grow that season.

Think they are exdose think that is miss spelled. My bad had to many to smoke

Update harvested with 17 plants, got 26 ounces. Lookin about .50 gram per watt. Quite pleased with outcome. Got something to go by now so Will try and improve to hit the gram per watt. As this is the first time i worked out the gram to watt. Is it possible to do growing im coco?

I've had my bulbs for about year Joe half done 6 grows with them. Would replacing with new ones go towards the gram per watt

Update. My new grow is 16 white rhino and 16 cheese. Had to get second pump for feeding as the pressure was not up to feeding all 32 the same time as feeding is on a timer. Cause i had couple bits of bud mold i got 5 new ten inch fans. I've put them on the ceiling and has helped with making the room steady 26c. I got a weather station so i can monitor the room temp and humidity without being in the room. Which was handy really cause one of the new fans tripped all my electric out and didn't know until my temp started to drop and a alarm went off on the weather station. Turned out to be a faulty fuse in the plug. After some ph issues my plants are back on track. Been veg for 4 weeks. Going to drop lights from 24.0 to 18.6 for a week then turn onto 12.12 hoping that this Will allow me to not do the 36 hour dark period between veg and flower

Why do the dark period ?
Just veg less ??
when my clones go into 12/12 they are already showing pitils from a 18/6 light regime,
after a week they are fully flowering,
imo the dark period used to trigger flower is not a good way to treat them,
just my bit umbre...

Appreciate the replie clonex. Well usually i veg 24.0 then off lights for 36 hours then the 12.12 cyc le. If i veg my last week 18.6 do i have to do the 36 hour dark period prior to flower

How do you mean ? in veg your either running 18/6 or 24/0 yeah ?
they will switch into flower quicker on the 18/6 regime , slightly anyway,
You dont need a prolonged dark period ?
this is just to shock them into flower?
like , yo!! shorter days are here , wtf?!!
why bother ? just switch ?

Ok mate. As Im on 24.0 i understand that i have to do a 36 hour dark period. Been veg 24.0 for 4 weeks. If i turned lights onto 18.6 for a week how long do i need darkness before i switch 12.12

ok , i think i misunderstand you or something ,
If you are on 24/0 or 18/6 , you do not need an extended dark period before you switch light regime , i know people do it , but it is not needed imo , just go to 12/12 and done ,

If you need them to flower quicker shorten your veg period ...

That's what i was after cheers buddy. So I've flipped from 24.0 to 18.6 this evening. Going to 18.6 for 7 days. When its the last day of 18.6 do i just leave lights off for 6 hours then go onto 12.12

That's ok man , crosswires are easy on here sometimes , and i would go 18 on - 12 off - 12 on 12 off and so on .....
