Hi All,

I'm 6 days away from chopping my first little plant down and I have these nasty brown spots, nute burn?

I just switched her to plain water and Final Flush solution so I'm not too concerned about it, but I would like to know for my next grow

Thanks

she doesnt look done to me. have you checked the trichs? i think you should keep with the flush for at least 2 weeks to yellow out those fans leaves some. looks like nute burn to me. you need to get some of that nitrogen out of the plant for a much better smoke

Harvesting in 6 days is a must, I'm moving across country Oct 31.

I'm using Final Flush which is supossed to flush the plant of all nutes within 1-2 days, I'm giving it 6 days for good measure. Any experience with this?

Too early to harvest. You should harvest when at least 50% off the hairs turn amber. If you don't you'll get a "speedy head high",and it won't taste great. As for nute's,add new water, and use a lil bloom formula, and get the ph rite.Other than that not a big problem.

The best way to tell is to look at the hairs, you want about 50% to turn an amber color. "Orange" you can also use a magnifying glass to tell. Your hairs at still all white. What you should do is put it in a box or something and just keep it in the dark for the whole trip. Your plant will be ok, i cant remember if you had hydro but if you did just put on some rubber gloves and put it in a zip lock bag i think that would work. Just add a little water to it and call it a trip. Like other people said you still have some time but that nug looks like its going to be huge and dense. Congrats on your grow.

Finally, someone that read my situation. It is hydro - DWC, and I was considering just leaving it in it's little setup (PC Grow Box) and putting it in the back of the SUV but wasn't sure if it would help any since I won't have power for light or to bubble the water.

Should I leave standing water in the res for the roots to sit in, as I will have no power to run the bubbler? Should I try to make it light tight so she is in total darkness my 3 days on the road?

This is a very constructive piece of advice, PLEASE elaborate on the best way to do it now that you know my setup a little better.

When you say the "hairs" do you mean the pistles or the trichs? The pistils just started to change, you can see in some of the pics. I have a 30X magnifier and check them every 10 minutes!! LOL

is this a lowryder strain?
Nope, Snow White from Nirvana. I believe it's so small because I stressed the shit out of it, also probably root bound. Either way, it worked out really well considering my limited space.

I flowered it when it was 2" tall

I am not a professional grower but 3 days in dark might be a little stress full but it would be better to do that I think then trying to harvest early. Yeah just add some water not to much but some and just leave it I would say. Let me know how it goes with what you decide to do.

Hey bud were here to help ya out haha!! my advice is get a converter in your suv that turns you 12v outlet to something you can plug in appliances. my buddy runs a laptop/phonecharger/basically a powerstrip in his car like this. this being said should be enough to get atleast a 42w on and a fan going through your drive. maybe you can keep her going for the drive there. Another option is to plan you drive 12/12 and stay in a motel during light time and dark time during your drive. Think about it man you can probably pull it off if u got the balls.

and i can tell its atleast 3 weeks because its still not very dense nugs and all white pistils. When its done its gonna have more amber colored pistils and a more all around amber glow. Best way to tell is to get a magnifying glass 15x or more and check trichomes that are the actual pin looking crystals on your bud. Those have heads that should be mostly clear right now. They start turning cloudy, and then amber. You want to harvest when 50/50 of trichomes are amber/cloudy for a fully mature plant. that being said great grow +rep and tons of luck in you move!!

Thanks, man, I considered powering inside the SUV but it's not going to work for a few different reasons I won't go into. Also, my traveling companion is not wise to my grow.

So I have two choices 1) 3 1/2 days of darkness for the plant and then get her back on a 12/12 cycle when I arrive home, or 2) harvest prematurly.

Some of the hairs are stating to turn color, and a few of the trich's are looking slightly cloudy
