Fall Starts Sunday Afternoon...With a Fall Storm!
Sunday morning will be fairly quiet, maybe a shower, but mainly dry for the first half of the day.
A front moves across the the region Sunday afternoon with heavier rain and windy conditions. Winds will be gusty at the Coast, in the 50's, and in the Valley, in the 30's, through the afternoon. Wind will be strong enough to possibly knock down some tree branches...which could end up taking down some powers lines...power outages may be in store for some of you. We could easily see a half inch of rain in the valley from a steady band of moisture moving through from lunch to dinner time.
Showers and cooler temperature continue into the middle of next week.

hey 5150,

rough season we had. i took mine in on 9/24, all about 1-2 weeks early. one of them was about 3 weeks early. still lost about 20-30% of the crop to mold and budworms.

on the plus side, the cool, wet september we had kept the mites away! not that it's much consolation.

they tallied it up, and that was the wettest september we have had since they started keeping records. not to mention we were getting highs of 55, which is what we normally get in november.

hope your crops held on. let us know when you're not busy trimming.
