well I tried to get early start this year. But my plants were put out to early and all flowered on me. I could not take the risk of stunted growth so I started over. I used a fence post auger to dig my holes this year. Trying some plants this year in all natural backyard soil with just perlite mixed in. Some of the other holes only have half bag of FFOF soil mixed in transplant area. All holes have lots of perlite though. Been wanting to know since 2009 what natural soil will do in my backyard. If you do not know my past grows check out my sig/avatar before you ask why the hell all natural soil. when I grew those monster plants I just used 2 bags FFOF soil. we all know 2 bags of FFOF will not grow 4lb plants. So something good is going on in my natural soil. None of my plants ever yellowed even at the end. This was 2009, In 2011 I grew again in backyard with same FFOF and natural mix again got huge plants again. Last year was all pots.

Sucks my early start plants flowered on me. But I cannot take the chance of stunted growth. I know this time of year I can catch up in size pretty fast. I cannot wait along any more for these to revert back to veg. Only one plant will be in a pot this year. I was hoping to grow all PK this year for it finished fast and well for me last year at early Oct. This lets me not have my carports covers making much less work. Also early Oct. beats all the bus worms damage I get. In the past 5 years my logs tell me bud worm damage does not show up until mid Oct. So I tried to get strains that worked for me in my area. (oregon)

Strains I am growing this year?

7 Purple kush
2 Blackberry Kush
1 Lemon Kush
1 mendo purps
1 Plush berry

I do not have much for pics right now for I am starting over. I do have the plants in the ground now though. I have some vids I made last week. Also a vid I made on my PK flowering and trying to reveg again. When My plants take off I will ad lots of pics.

Anyway enjoy.

Thanks,

Well I made vid where I am at today. Garden is ugly now. I will be making borders for my holes and the beans out of some lumber I have. Dog run I made into fence to keep the dogs and dog shit out :) They like to run around my plants making all kinds of dust when the grass dies.

Also the pot I have is a FF and natural soil mix at about 50/50. Should be a interesting year. First time stepping out of my normal grow style as far as most all natural soil goes. well see...

hey 5150! time for another year of fun!

i put some pretty stunted old mothers into the ground june 1st, and they took a long time to bounce back, but they bounced back hard. they appear to have nearly doubled in size since yesterday. so i'm thinking you'll catch up pretty quick.

a few more gloomy days in the forecast, but you know how it goes. the season starts in earnest 4th of july weekend!

Yah I got tired of waiting and could not risk stunted growth. I read some come back fine and some flower all summer and stunted.

hey a quick question. how long do your plants take to reveg once you put them outside. i have 5 cheeses outdoor that have been out for about a month and a half and have never reveged. they just continued vegging and have now started flowering i believe. seems too early in the season for me but im not sure yet. do you think its possible that they are just now stating to flower and reveg? or do you think they will just finish since they have already started? im stumped. also good passed grows dude. your stuff looks amazing. subbed.

Mine were about 10" clones when I put them outside around 4-27. Right away they started to stretch and flower. They flowered for the next month and half until what you see in the vids below. The only sign of reveg I saw was on one plant. Look for the single and funky leaf growth. So at this point I could not risk stunted plants from flowering. In the past indoor I have reveg harvest plants and they came right back in about 3 weeks always funky looking single twisted leafs though. Being early in the season I took the safe way and just started over. This is the first time I had early flowering outdoor. I tried to get early start to early.

As you can see my plants even stretched and went full woody on my. I made this vid a few weeks ago.

I started over with all new clones. The larger plants I gave away. I could not risk stunted growth this early in the season. I am shooting for 1lb to 2lb plants with the new clones.

damn. when are you going to put your clones out? ive been considering doing the same thing if the plants i have outside start reveging. although they are fairly large. maybe ill put some cuts outside to get a little something on the side just in case.

also i didnt realize you could get that much still with so little time left to veg outdoor. good luck dude. im subbed for this one.

If you want to start early you can run lights, this is enough to keep them from flowering......good luck....P.S. I love smart pots!.....

even better. never considered doing it that way.
That's the only way I could avoid questions as well. The only thing was for me, until the days got longer I'd have people telling me... "You left a light on." It would shut off automatically at 7-8pm-ish and come back on at like 2am when everyone was asleep.
