>MG says right on the container that it Guarantees it will not burn plants if used according to directions.U have been feeding according to directions right?

>I dunno what the second sentence says

>I think its the leds..U should stick to what works...as in- return the leds to walmart or where ever U got them from and spend $150 on a 400w HPS and do it the right way.

$350 dollars (or whatever it is) just doesnt seem like its worth it for 1-2 plants...I have over 30 growing indoors and think I might have that much in my whole setup...nevertheless, your plant looks good and cant wait to see what you yield to see if its worth it.......peace

MG says pour and feed "apply directly to soil"!
I did and thats happened!
I used this to my male plant before without problem!
I returned the 400W to ebay dont worry!!!

Minime!!!:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

wow...the plant under a SINGLE CFL, is doing better than the plant under the 50W of LED's, that just adds to my skepticism about this whole LED grow.

check this out -->LEDs are efficient for some applications

that site says that LEDs are comparable to INCANDESCENT light bulbs, which we all know are terrible for growing, so LED's are just a TINY bit better than incandescent lights depending on the application.

it also says that some leds have a high lumen output, pretty close to 600 lumens per watt, unfortunately that only applies to the "yellowish-green" lights and we all know that the 2 spectrums that are required for growing are Red and Blue.

the site says:
The degree of efficiency improvement by using red, green and blue LEDs instead of white ones has since decreased because red and green LEDs have not improved as much as white ones have since 2004.

Since it takes a thousand or so 5 mm LEDs to equal the light output of a 100 watt light bulb and LEDs are expensive, LED is generally not the way to go for room lighting. Also note that even as of February 2006, LEDs that are on the market are still less efficient than fluorescent lamps.
so pretty much, you'd be better off using fluoros due to the efficiency, expense, and obviously bcucz the rate of growth is slower bcuz of the LED's.

however LED's have quite the life span, yet they are barely effective for growing.

another thing I want U to check out is this

-->Youtube LED vs. HPS 70W challenge

some dude had a challenge between 70W of LED (20w more than what you have) vs a 70W HPS and he recorded his journal in a video, so if U have a moment check out the updates:

YouTube - Led Vs. Hps - 70W challenge (part 1)
YouTube - LED against HPS 70 W (part 2)
YouTube - LED against HPS 70 w part 3 (part 3)
YouTube - LED vs. HPS (part 4)
YouTube - LED vs. HPS 8 days flowering (part 5)
YouTube - LED vs. HPS 70 W compare grow 17 days flowering (part 6)
YouTube - LED vs. HPS 25 days into flowering (part 7)

thats all he has so far, its pretty recent..incomplete, but still informative.

Maybe if you added a couple of fluro tubes from the diy store to the led setup it would make a lot of difference and cost only a little.
i recently bought a 400watt hps setup as i wanted to have big buds but for the previous 8 years i used basic fluro tubes,a 30watt and a 58watt and that produced enough bud to keep me happy, these generate very little heat and are very cheap to buy and run, anyway hope your plants do ok will have a look in on this thread to see how its going another day ;)

At the moment, what you have wouldn't get you even a slap on the wrist. Most States have a law...anything under thirty grams isn't considered a felony with intent to distribute, but any thing thirty, wet or dry, is. Just don't tell anyone that you are growing...the One True Law of marijuana farmers...and you will be fine.

These LEDs just dont really seem worth the hassle, when compared to HID bulbs or even 4 or 5 CFLs. Just one opinion.

Hardcore LED ScroG..... sounds like the only thing really worth the effort... and for the money, hardcore flouro ScroG is much cheaper....

Good luck man, hope it turns out for you, but I'd just say go with the HPS, why try fighting what works..... unless you have the extra room/time/money/effort...

that thing looks super sad! what have you not been doing? neglect neglect. looks like a pot a light dirt and a seed and a whole lot of wishful thinking. if i had to stab at this from the dark i would say you have ph lock out to the point of super def. sorry, but those buds just wont swell, or pack on the resin we all enjoy. lets just ope you dry it right.

im really suprised, with all the help on this site why you peoples plants will still look like this....

however there is nothing like smoking your own homegrown, no matter how nasty!

please, im no master, but i can tell you that the answers to te questions you never asked here on this site. you nuds arent going to be anybetter with a store bought hydro set up and a different strain with the same growing techniques or lack there of. good luck on your next grow and please dont be affraid to ask questions. pictures like that make this site look bad if they are not followed up with pictures of the same plant after you fixed whatever was wrong with the help of the "masters" of rollitup.... good luck next grow around
