50 US Dollars Bail For Murder?!!

WTF is wrong with my country. Cannabis charges I have heard of bail reaching close on ZAR 50 000 (divide by 10 for USD). A few weeks ago, a guy that was caught red-handed raping a schoolgirl, a TEACHER, got bail of ZAR 500.

Now one of the accused who murdered our friend got bail of ZAR 500. 50 USD. Our entire little 'family' has been depressed over her disappearance for 6 months. Rose was an exceptionally kind lady. Always treated me well, loved to share a laugh with whomever was in the mood for laughing. I mean, she was LITERALLY a circus performer. Everybody going to the outdoor festivals knew her. Gods, I'm sooo sorry to hear of this Brother! Your friend Richard is quite the trooper, taking it upon himself to care for those children, that's the beauty in all this ugly right there! What others do can affect our lives so deeply, but how we react is always up to us. I know such a loss can never be forgotten or even felt like it can be passed while you're in the midst of it, but as long as you know there is a silver lining in the clouds of such a heavy storm, the sun will shine again. I know words are never a proper consolation to such circumstance, but pass on my love, and respect to your buddy Richard, he'll need every kind word he can come across dealing with the media. My Grandfather murdered his step-son, yes my uncle, before I was born, and the media chased my grandmother, and poor mother around for years. They had to hide out with family, and stay where they could at times. I have pictures of those assholes in the house where it happened holding my grandmothers hands away from her face so they could get a good picture! THEY'RE FUCKING VULTURES BRO! BTW my grandpa only served 7 years, and if you knew any details like I do, you would know that's BULLSHIT! Justice is never about the severity of the crime, it's about the person who committed the crime, and who they know, simple as that, but very damn sad! Soo sorry to hear about your friend . When I was locked up my bond was 5 times higher than a guy who had committed aggravated sexual assault. Only thing I did wrong was have ganja on me and I wouldn't give my keys up to the police without a search warrant.

We're never going anywhere either brother. There will always be love, and strength in the canna community as long as there is breath in our lungs. Sharing such a tragic story only shows me that the love those parents tried to pass on to their child just got misdirected to the people here, for you.
