5 Weeks Into Flower Question

I bought some feminized crystal seeds from Nirvana seed bank. Its supposed to be a cross of Northern Lights and White Widow. It says on their website for this plant that you should flower for 9-11 weeks. I was gonna go with 11 at first but now at five weeks I am seeing lots of red hairs. I think I could finish up at 9. What do you think?

I have Nirvana Ice goin right now and the site also says 9-11 weeks of flowering. I'm in week 7 and for sure they'll probs be done in 2 weeks. I heard around that Nirvana overshoots the flowering time on many of their strains. And different phenos will flower longer and others shorter. No worries :D

I've noticed on my plants, the hairs begin to change color roughly halfway through the flowering process. You cannot go by just the hair color for when to harvest - you want to go by the overall package. The age, the hairs, trichome color, all together - to tell you when she's done. If you haven't yet, invest in a handheld scope - RadioShack has one for $12. Depending on the high you like, look for cloudy with some amber for your head high, and 50% amber or more for the couchlock high.

Oh yeah - you've got a ways to go with her still. She's beautiful though, healthy, filling out nicely. Great job!

I'd say they are half way done, They still look like they have alot more weight to pack on. Give it another 5 weeks and take it from there.
Good job BTW they look great :)

It has quit flowering and there is quite a bit of bud on it. How much bud should I see on a ready to be harvested plant?
The 2 plants are budding under 1 2700k 125w cfl growbulb each. It just seems to have quit flowering. I was going to flush at 7 weeks of 12/12 and harvest at 9 weeks of 12/12. If I wait a week longer to do the deeds will it start flowering again even a little? Thanks

Ive never grown that strain but from the looks of the pics, she seemed like she could fill out a little more. Main thing is to pay attention to the trichs, especially on your bigger buds to know where shes at exactly. Best of luck!
