So I have 3/32W 6500K 2100lumen bulbs and one 42W 2700K at 3200lumen bulb so 138W @9500Lumens. It honestly hurts my eyes after a while..So I have one light dedicated to each plant. I have 4 plants total, Two are 11.5", one is 9" and the other is 8". the two smaller ones are a lot stock (in the back of the box) and the two tall ones are less stocky and more stretched. They're on a 20/4 light cycle right now. Oh and they're in miracle grow potting soil. and I have fed them no nutrients or nutes of any kind and just pure distilled water. And I keep each light about 2 1.5"/2" inches above the plants, they run super cool..

I took the advise of the guys here and replaced the containers with dark non-transparent pots.. I'm broke so I spray painted a plastic tub, made drainage, and combined the 4 plants into one big container. I know its better to have them separate but this is what I had. Since week 5 I changed the light cycle to 16/8 and on week 6 im going to go 24hrs off and then 12/12 from then on... any objections? thoughts? How much bud would I be looking at about with four 2' plants?? :leaf:

And can anyone tell me if that's really THC or not on the Close Up Top picture?? I can get more pics tomorrow and I'll keep this updated for good advise.
keep smokin :bigjoint:

if it hasnt been to long since the transplant i would stick something between the plants to form like a wall and keep the roots seperated. look at my signature link i used a single 16qt tub for 6 plants but i divided it up with partial walls so i could remove males easier without ripping up roots from other plants. also id suggest a small hood/fixture if you could to spread the all the light over all the plants instead of just 1 bulb over each. besides that their lookin nice and green. oh and yes they form small trichs over the leaves they just dont kick in full effect till flowering. if your worried it might be mold or anything else just rub it and if your fingers get sticky no worries its the good stuff :)

Nice! ya They are just loving these CFL's I love these CFLs lol. And I dont know what to use for a good hood for the lights. Im trying to steer clear of anymore duct tape and string. Got any idea?

Well I made a much better light fixture... It doesn't focus each light on each plant but it definitely helps to spread the light evenly across the floor. I know tinfoil isn't the thin to use but its all I had, would plain white printer paper even be better? Oh an I broke one of my lights :cuss::wall: and I cant afford another right now...

Burnt the tip a bit on some leaves so obviously this puts out more heat now.. The upside to all this is, more directed light, more vertical space to grow with due to lower profile, and it was free

Still learning a shit ton since this is my first grow. I'm actually a little more excited for the next go around because I know I will be able to get healthier plants next time and probably bigger.

Looking good so far:-) Multi planting is OK, after all its what happens in nature if you plant them outdoors, the roots will share the space. I did a thread "3 in a bed" as an experiment last year and there were no problems with multiplanting them at all, just a mass of buds :-)

Good luck with the grow.

ya definately better light after that you can see how much brighter it is around the plants. i would say to move it a little bit closer though to try and slow down the stretching on them. you can keep the lights about 3 or 4 inches away from them and theyll be fine. also dont stress the tinfoil thing if you cant afford or get somewhere to buy mylar whatever foil is in the house free and it works :P i have it all around my setup and im not getting hotspots or burns or whatever it is people complain about foil for. i have read though to use the dull side facing out though so make sure its that way

ya their stretching to reach the light if you move it down closer they will bush out instead of growing up so much. could just be genes aiding the stretch to though cause them ones in the back look pretty nice
