Hi guys! Looking to get a new rhino fan & hobby filter kit off ebay. Was going to get the 5", then noticed the 6" is only £10 more.
I currently use a ds90 tent (90x90x170cm), 4" inline fan & filter. I have a lumatek 400w dimmable ballast I use on 250, mainly because it gets too hot. It reaches 32.5C with the 400. I would like to run it on 400w obv so a bigger fan is needed. So what's anyone's thoughts? Will the 6" be a bit big, or shud I just spend extra £10 & get it? Or, will 5" be enough to bring it down that couple degrees? On the Rhino website there's not much power difference between the two. I could use my current 4" as an intake fan? I just use passive intake at the mo. Any input/advice appreciated!
