I disagree ...New Grower Mistake #?: Skimping on odor control.
I sometimes see posts by newbies asking if odor filters are really necessary, usually because they want to reduce startup costs. And the answer is "yes", they are really necessary, even if venting through the roof like I do. Otherwise the odor will land you in jail.
As Barney Fife would say:I disagree ...
Thug life, ftw
But it always smells because in always blazing it anyway..As Barney Fife would say:
1. No tell.
B. No smell.
3. Qualerbatoo. (no, that was Gomer)
Good point. I try to be proactive when it comes to insects by treating area around growsite before I ever see any signs of insect damage so I don't have to perform any damage control later on.Rookie mistake #??
Assuming you don't have bugs simply because you don't see them flying around.
(Mites suck!)
Proactive is the way to go about bugs. Preventative is better than dealing with mites/bugs. Mites need their own thread.Good point. Spider mites have to be the most hated of all the types of mites that can invade a garden, especially in a greenhouse. I'm surprised I don't have brain cancer from all the pyrethrin foggers my father had me set off in his greenhouses when I was a kid.lolProactive is the way to go about bugs. Might just do that...
I'm not using an odor control device as we speak, and I live "behind enemy lines." 88% of the people think it should be legal here, though. And I smoke weed regularly with no cops called on me yet (knock on wood). Does it really get that bad?New Grower Mistake #?: Skimping on odor control.

If you can smell it when you walk in your house, nonsmokers can smell it from the sidewalkI'm not using an odor control device as we speak, and I live "behind enemy lines." 88% of the people think it should be legal here, though.
