your talking a pound... thats a lot to ask if you dont know exactly what your doing. think more around the zone of 2-3 ounces

I wouldn't use anything under 15 gal. for outdoor...especially if you want weight! the entire thing rests on the health and size of the root system. I use 18 gal. bins. filled to the top. next year, I want to do a 55 gal. with a plant started in december. that one will definitely be over a pound!
