Hi guys this is one of my 5 day old seedlings, wondering if the growth rate is ok as i've seen peoples plants at 2 weeks are much more developed and its hard to imagine mine will be substantially bigger In even 10 days. Its my first grow (skunk#1) and I have 5 of these under a 600w metal halide although i've got the ballast down to 400w. They are In respectable sized pots and definitely not overwatered, Medium is john innes 1st with a bit of extra peat moss to bring the PH down although it sits more toward neutral than acidic ( continuing problem ). Light cycle is on a 14 on 10 off ( maybe needs upping to 18 on) sitting about 14 inches from the plant top. Temperatures aren't an issue I don't think although I dont know specifics yet there is good heat from the light being on an when it isn't the house is warm enough.View attachment 2896068

I would think 18/6 would be good, but be careful with your temps as MH can be hot for the little ones....hope you have fans running
i dont currently have a fan running as i ordered a free standing one and its not been delivered yet :/ ... is this of up-most importance ? for heat ? or too simulate wind for strong growth ? will 2 more days hurt ?

It's looking good. The fan at this early stage would be more for heat as a seedling does not need to need stressed very much.

air circulation is always a good thing but you should be fine for a few days....open the door/flaps/windows to allow the heat to escape
