Hi there!
This is going to be my 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] grow, my first was an unsuccessful one with autos in soil that got fucked up, the genetics were total shite, anyway, you can have a look here. The second one was a White Widow SCROG'd in a RDWC diy bucket, you can check it out here, and here we are on a new diy system, this time 5 buckets connected together with a central reservoir.
The grow started in the beginning of April with kinda lots of problems mainly due to the lack of money to get the shit I wanted like cooltubes, ventilation, plastic equipment, things that might not throw someone's budget off the ceiling but I'm living in Greece, so no explanations required
On this grow I'm featuring a White Widow that started from a feminised seed, a Powerkush from Dinafem, feminised as well, thanks for sending it over mate, you know who you are, up to you to say it publicly and three White Widows that have a funny story behind them. They came from a clone that I took from my second grow which I put straight under 12/12 (was parallel with that grow), gave a couple of grams, put it to reveg, took a bunch of clones and here are the three that I kept!
I'm running the ppms at about 1K, that will be 2.0 EC on a 500 conversion scale, out of which 225 is from my tap water that comes from 100+ metres underground (my own drill) so no water company chemical shite there, just natural minerals and salts. On the bad side of it, it's very alkaline at about 9.2 ph which means that whenever I change the water takes a hell of a lot ph down to get it to 5.6-5.8.
Now, a couple of things about the system. 65 litre central reservoir, 5 buckets of about 22 or 24 litres each. From the res a 1300lph water pump sends the mix to all five buckets, then they all connect to return it back to the res. The big WW and the PK also have 2 inputs for air, useless at this point, one for the airstone they got down there, and another one to recycle the water, but will work only if I let it fill as right now there's not sitting water in the bottom.
Feel free to ask any questions, do observations, remarks, whatever. Fuck, I almost forgot to write they've been under 12/12 since the 5th of June.
