5 1/2 weeks into flower, starting to hermie

if my plant that should go 8 weeks just started hermie at 5 1/2, what should i do? try to cut off the male parts until 8, chop it down now, or what? will the buds be descent enough to chop now? it's frosty, but it's way early. i've never had to deal with this before and i'm not sure what my next move should be. is it a total loss?

Cut them off very carefully.....didnt you post the same thread a day or two ago?

I would cut off the bannanas. Just let the plant finish. You will get more potent bud at 8-9 weeks.

Is it your only plant? If not, I would seperate it from the others and harvest the seeds so you can have some for a rainy day.

this is the first thread i've posted in months. bananas just showed up today. must have been someone else. thanks for the response though.

it is my only plant so i don't have to worry about it pollinating others. if it did pollinate itself would those seeds tend to hermie up too?
