4x8 tent ventilation help!

Running a 4x8 tent with 1 1000watt hps would like to switch it out 2 600s on a splitter. Have a 440cfm fan pulling through a carbon filter, a hood and then vented outside. I ghetto rigged my ac vent in the room to duct into the tent at the bottom for fresh air and a bit of ac. Anyway with all of this and just a general fan to move air in the tent im still reaching 85 at the canopy. Any ideas on how to get it down another 5 to 10 degrees?

I suspect that you are aware that going from 1,000W to 1,200W is only going to make it worse. I think that adding another fan is the best solution. That isn't what I would want to hear either. One fan to pull tent air through the filter and out of the tent and the other to pull room air through the lamps and right back into the room. Good luck with whatever you land on.

i know if i put in another fan i might be able to get it down but the design of the grow tent i have is fucked. there is only 3 intake/exhaust holes and they are all on the same side making ventilation much more difficult so pulling that air back through my lamps is impossible unless i start cutting up my tent

I assume you probably have a tent like I had where there is 2 hole in top left back corner and one on the left wall bottom towards the front.

Use the top 2 for your light (1 in, 1 out) It's kind of stupid how you have to run the hose back to the same corner but it works.
Bottom hole use for carbon filter and exhaust fan.
