4x8 Tent ideas

Ok, so I'm purchasing a 4x8 tent, but the catch is that I want to grow both my mother/veg plants and flowering plants in the same tent. My idea is that I use panda plastic to separate the tent into 6x4 and 2x4 rooms. In the 2x4 room, I'd have a 400 watt MH for my mother/veg plants. In the 6x4 (flowering), two 600w in cool tubes. I'd cut a 6" hole in the panda plastic for ventilation output, so it would go through my carbon filter. I'll have a 400 cfm fan in the bigger room with the aforementioned carbon filter. In both rooms, there will be a small oscillating fan.

Tell me why I'm and idiot and what I should do to make the most out of my tent.

EDIT: I can also replace the MH light with a 4 ft fluorescent light.

The problem is, its hard as hell to completely light proof a tent when you divide it. If you can do it more power to you. However you might have some serious heat issues when you put that wall up. Your going to need atleast two exhaust fans one for each side. and atleast two intakes on each side for fresh air. If you cut a hole in your panda, your allowing light to come through, and it wont be very sturdy to support anything, unless your putting support up in the middle as well.

I originally was going to do this, until I figured out, 10 plants in veg dont fit in the same area as the 10 plants in flower haha. Im getting a second 4x8 tent for veg. I just upped my setup and added an extra 600w and an extra T5. The pricing of the 8x4 tent is great, but thats because the size is pretty crappy in comparison to a little bigger tents. I dont understand what your asking in your post. Im trying to help the best I can/

Like Chain said - its hard to completely light proof the divider when you take into consideration ventilation and tent supports. Why not a 4x8 and a 3x3? I saw one person running two 4x4's on their sides one above the other - 4'deepx6.5longx4'high. The top had two 6oo's and the bottom had a 4'T5 system and it seemed to work really well as long as he maintained short plants.

Ya, that feedback was exactly what I wanted (though I didn't want to hear it). So, a better idea would be a 4x8 tent with a carbon filter, fan for outtake, two 600w HPS lights, oscillating fan. Then, a 4x4 tent with a carbon filter, fan for outtake, oscillating fan, and a 400w MH or Fluorescent T5's. Does that sound good? Any input is highly appreciated. Thanks Gastanker and Chainsmoking

I'm on my phone atm, but ya run 2 of whatever in ur flower tent with an air filter and exhaust fan and a rotary fan if fine. The veg tent sounds perfect a 400mh is ideal for low heat best results. T5 is what I un because I'm going to Change

Sorry phone tripped out. I'm going to change some bulbs out for better yields. But u shouldn't need an air filter for a veg room they don't stink and normally just crack the tent open at the top works best for vent. I'm also going to put led pannels along with my 2t5's in my veg tent before long and more in the flower tent just for kicks lol
