Oh and one more thing, do you guys agree to have the fan PUSHING air over the light? Like I said, no filter in use so like the pic showed... Fan>light>duct>flange/out. And should I use duct between light and fan? Thanks guys!

I've always gone fan>>>ducting>>>light>>>ducting>>>exhaust

this is because I have a carbon filter before the fan and I'd rather small amounts of clean air escape out the light than it suck unfiltered air into the light and out the exexhausts lap you should get a small rotating fan for the wall if possible. Help the plants get a nice even breeze to keep me short.

perfect, thats what i was thinking. had a few delays but my friend delivered my beaners! and heres a few minor updates of the cab. moved into place and exhaust ducting in place. the Sour blueberry came in a cool glass vile in a wood block, and engraved! thought id share!

Reminds me of my first grow box I built except it had a 4x4 flower box on the right side of it.

also who are the seeds with the wooden box from??

I grow in a 6' x 3' by 7' cabinet in a shed outside. I have a 600w HPS with digital ballast. 6" inline fan drawing air through the vented hood to cool the bulb. Run from 4pm to 4am currently. Starting to see temps in the 90's for highs at the moment. Will change timer as it warms.

Rather than cover the interior of the closet with anything, I simply stapled Panda Film to the studs and roof. It is black on the outside and white on the inside. I also ran it in front of the door with a slit for access and overlapped it for light control.

I don't worry about light leaks between the door, or anything like that, and in a year of growing, I have only had one plant hermie and that was a white widow plant that I revegged. I'm pretty sure it was more from the stress of the reveg and constant FIM that I did to it more than any light leak.

I am pulling 1 1/2 to 2 zip per plant with fox farms nutes. More than enough for me. Simple is better.

well i will make sure its light proof just for preventive measures. ive got the time and material so what the hell. I plan to paint tomorrow and then hang the light, fan, and ducting. then have to build the dwc's. pics by tomorrow evening!

Thanks man, unfortunately, didn't get to the cab today. Girlfriend got sick so gotta take care of her and keep her company ya know? Tomorrow is another day!

For sure no rush. The more you rush the more you miss and have to spend time redoing.

And it sucks when you dont notice something until after your plants are already going.

Hey guys, nothing to interesting but a little paint. Had a gallon of flat white ceiling paint, so i put it to good use! this is only the first coat, and im doing the floor last. I sprayfoarmed the backwall/ceiling bc of a 1/4" gap, so thats why its not painted. I plan on finishing up tomorrow or friday. keep you all posted. then its germination time!

Got the door painted. light, fan, ducting are all installed. i will add a few supports for ducting just to neaten it up. Also installed a dedicated circuit and mounted ballast outside of cab too!

So I'm looking at making a purchase of nutes. I have rock wool cubes. I was thinking GH Flora Series 3-pk(Grow,Bloom,Micro), GH pH Up & Down, Dutch Master Gold Zone, GH CaMg. Any recommendations for germing? Specifically for DWC
