4x4 sog ebb and flow

After months of research and saving cash I finally finished my room (for the most part). I eventually chose a 4x4 ebb and flow although I have no experience with hydro :leaf:.

The reason I started this journal is because I have many questions and the easiest way to get answers is from someone following along, right? So heres what I have for my Flowering room:

2 400 watt hortilux super HPS
1 400 watt MH
roughly a 6 x 4 space

Next are the ballasts on a shelf just above the growing area
as you can see I have a 265 CFM blower and a carbon filter in a 392 cubic ft room. Should I have enough air flow? I can control temps with a speed controller but this is too much work, in a hour its either too cold or too hot. Anyone know a DIY temp controller?

okay next up is the control board for now. 3 cords to the outlets from the lights, 1 cord from an addition ballast on the shelf not in use. timers not pictured

the table with empty pots, using hydroton. Now here where I need help. Maybe someone with experience could suggest their favorite nutes?
I need info on feeding schedules like how many ppm;s when and so on. My goal is as much weight as efficent and as quick as possible. Hence Im thinking SOG obviously.

any suggestions yet? Ill post later!

PS more pics on bottom.

I have mother Skunk 1 but they dont look healthy now, soil problems.. looking to cut clones in around a week so it should be full in about 2 weeks!?
Any tips on what nutes would be best, additives, feeding schedule, etc...??
Also, someone with experience please, how important is it to keep the temps in the res constant?? thanks

Heres a few Pic of the room with the table in it.
I can fit 45 6" round net pots in the table. is this overkill?
I plan on flowering after a week of veg
45 plants in a 4x4 table equals out to about 3 plants per square foot.
I know the rule of thumb is 1 so has anyone ever heard of this kind of high density sog?

plus the plan is too clone the mothers I have now, save one for a mom in fox farms soil in my veg cab, and fill the tray with the rest of the clones
My moms look sick:(

are you concerned about the net pots letting your roots get light pruned?
you ask is 45 net pots overkill - well i guess not as long as you can manager it. i would love to have 45 donkey dicks curing in my safe!

planning on cloning in a day or 2
last night I built a cloner:

My mothers are looking better now after I leached the soil and feed them, hopefully I can get 50 nice clones off them:

Currently building a mother cabinet but I will only be able to fit 1 mother so the other 2 gotta go!:

My current goal is 21/2 pounds in two months, is this ever realistical under 2 400 watters?
Waiting for SensiBloom nutes from AN, along with a temp controller.
about the time the nutes come in I should have roots:), hopefully.

hey im switching to all hydro tables soo i will give some insite..your on the right track with the high numbers...were going to be using 4 by 8 tables and 3 by 6 tables...the 4 by 8s are getting 125 plants each and the 3 by 6 are getting 72 plants.... will all those 400s i would recomend a 600 or even a 1000...3 400s is 1200 watts..and thwy wont have the intensity of a 600 watt dig or 1000s...as for numbers... with 45 plants aim for 14 grams aplant..so that is looking at like 1.5 lbs a tables...with everything dialled in ..in our large tables.... the 4 by 8s with 2 600s on movers were looking at 1.5 + a light..but you have to have the strains and everything else perfect///shit takes time...good look

yeah I will invest in ac 1000 watters in the near future...
actually I wanted to get more than average outta 3 400 watters because I had to experiment:)
Im thinking of putting 1 1000 watt HPS and 1 400 watt MH in a growzilla hood over the table... probably be my next run

as for the 3 400 watt lights.... I was thinking this,
I know 3 400 watters dosent equal the intensity of a 1000 watt hps but
3 2x2 ebb and flows under 400 watts each will probably yeild as much as
1 1000 watt 4x4 table over the same time period....
to me this means keeping the plants strictly cola buds and treating it as 3 tables in one...... (because of lack of money of course, I would rather up the lighting)

anyone following me or am I completely stoned? cuz I am:)

well 3 2x2 flow tables is 12 sq feet and a 4 by 4 is 16...soo you wont get getting that much unlesss you chance the styles...i would scrog those mini ones and you may be able to pull 8 oz with the giving strain...but better yet.... look into the 3 by 3 tables or the 3 by 6s....

my clones will be ready in a day or two
to get this straight I should transplant into hydroton and flood the table to the roots, every say, hour for 15 min.
also do I need to veg for a week to build roots or do they grow fine straight to flower
BTW I have FoxFarm Grow Big for veg and Sensi 2 part for flowering

you should only have to flood evey 4 hours when the lights are on for 15 min or how ever long it takes to flood im not sure how big your pump is and no you dont need to veg clones for a week just 2 or 3 days till they get used to the lights hope this help it worked for me in the past
