4x4 - Skittlez Auto

I was given a 4x4 tent from a good friend and a light so I decided that I will use this second tent for auto flowers. I have never grown any autos before. I randomly decided to give them a try. This grow unlike my other one going on in my 8x4 is going to be 100% organic. I have never done an organic soil grow before either. I have had lots of experience with soil which I grew in for years before taking up DWC. I was using synthetic nutrients in that soil and I have to admit the results were quite good.

Any advice for going in organic soil is welcome.

Feel free to post as much as you like.

Day 2

24 hours after I put them between the paper towels. 100% pop rate! I was putting more water on the towels about every 6 to 8 hours to make sure that they didn't dry out and stayed wet.

Day 4

3 of the 4 have pushed up. One even has the taproot already coming through the bottom. These three that have popped up will probably be transplanted into their 5 gallon pots by the end of the week.

Day 5

I'm losing hope that the second one in line there is going to make it. You can in the close up shot that there looks to leaves and or the top of shell millimeters away from popping out. It may have run out steam. I'll still give it a chance I the hope that she pulls through and can make it.

I forgot too add that I'm giving then RO water with a mixed with a little bit of Voodoo Juice for AN.

Day 6

The seed that I thought was not going to make it has finally popped through. She's a little behind the others but I have confidence that she will catch up with the others. I'm probably going to give them all a coupe more days and then I will transplant them in to their forever homes. I'm hoping that these four plants can fill out the 4x4 nicely.

Day 7

They are all coming along nicely now. Still giving them RO water mixed with a couple ml of Voodoo Juice. The roots are coming out the bottom of the all the rockwell cubes except for the smallest seedling. Tomorrow will be transplant day for all of them. Temps in the dome have been around 80 degrees and humidity has been between 60% and 70%. I have been leaving them under an LED light that was also given to me that I only use for seedlings and it has always worked well for this purpose. I never get any stretching from the seedlings so I think that the insanity from the light is sufficient.

Day 8

The girls have been transplanted to their forever homes. Fabric 5 gallon pots. I think that there is enough food in the soil already to hold these girls over for at least 3 weeks. At three weeks I will see if a top dressing will be needed. The light is a 600W light and I have turned down to it's lowest possible intensity.

Day 9

Made a sight mistake with the transplanting. The small runt plant may have been a bit too weak for the soil and the tent. It does get pretty warm in there during the day and the runt was severely dry. I have tried to rehydrate the plant and we shall see if it will survive or not. Other 3 are looking good so far. It's a learned nonetheless.

Day 10

When I left for work this morning the runt was looking much better. I put a clear cup over it to hopefully keep the humidity high to keep it from dying out again. The others are taking to their new homes nicely. It would be nice if I could get the tent a little cooler during the day.

Day 13

There are now 3 seedlings and they look healthy. Should be acclimated with the transplant at this point. Tent is staying around 80 degrees with Humidity at 40%. At this point there is no co2 being added to the room. I'm planning on getting an exhale bag in there soon.

Day 14

Leaves on all three are getting bigger each day. Look like there is enough food for them in soil at the moment. I’ve been watering with plain RO water I may start adding some voodoo juice to it to help with root growth.

Day 16

Very noticeable growth from yesterday to today. Fingers crossed I can keep this tent cool enough for them.
