I have a friend building me a frame with castors on it, I will fill the frame with scoria/lava rock.
I’ll cover the scoria with geo fabric as to not pierce the bed and still be breathable. Good or bad?

I just want it to be aerated on the bottom.
It’s also going in a 10x 5 tent. Not 6x6.

The pros will tell ya to put a layer of rocks, I go for smooth stones personally. Then sand, silt and clay. About equal parts of these three, and just a few inches at the bottom, kinda burying the rocks. Then layer of organic matter ( compost). Then the soilless mix goes on to Finnish her off.

this does not need to be elevated or have airflow underneath of it.

And no that double manifold is just for the blue soak tape kits i think.

Yup that's it, I got the 2.0 version too. I think they came out with mega lines as well, just bigger blusoak tape but either one is going to produce for you.
That's a pretty clever idea aerating the bottom, I can't say for sure it would work as well as it sounds though. The only thing I can think of that make me apprehensive is it may mess with the osmotic pressure within the substrate. Actually pushing water up and giving a false reading that register within the ceramic cone on the blumat. But worst case senerio just stop using the air pump.
