4x4 - 5 gallon pots (x4)

Hey guys, I'm starting a perpetual grow.

Popped 4 seeds, which I'll veg, then take 5 clones each, and then flower them in 5gal pots in a 4x4.

I usually prefer less plants in bigger pots, and the workload is a bit reduced.

But I'm feeling I might have some trouble to fill the tent, as I'm taking 20 clones, quite a few branches will be missing.

Should I still be able to fill the tent with the 4 plants, and maybe some extra veg?

It's like topping a plant , it comes back bushier.

If there's lower branches that you don't want then obviously if you remove them completely they won't grow back , but you'd probably be cutting those anyway after stretch.

Indeed, but there will be 20 tips less.

Also, for some branches, besides the tip, the rest are popcorn nugs..

But hey, I'll let it be and see how it goes..

But I bet the tent will be half empty :D

When you take off the clones, let the plant continue to veg and fill back out. Your "20 less branches" is a non issue if you let her veg long enough to fill back out. 4 plants in a 4x4 can easily fill that space. Environment and genetics will play a part in how long it takes to veg and fill out after taking the clones.

Hey friends don't judge too much hopefully I'm just a rookie learning the ropes first time around, and ive had quiet the learning experience never touching a plant or even watering any type plant in my life to jump into 2 4x4 tents with 6 site oxygen cubes its been a lil rough k but I'm commenting bc if I can do this very first time around super failing I'm sure your going destroy it, got bored and started cross bucket LSTing guess I'm not needing my Scrog net for rn , believe I'm in week 5 1/2 veg .... roughly they are smaller in size because I've gave them 24 7 light since brought the clones home (600 watt light using ppfd and dli)

P.s before I'm jumped and mugged and never see my momma again yes there's a NPS in each tent I'm in veg city and probably will for awhile why flip till I can learn to properly veg I like the learning seeing if I can maintain but I live with 3 very very lazy slobs and even paying for pest control inside outside my ladies got I dunno wtf I'd found 4 small baby catipillers but I was still finding microscopic holes on new leaves and sometimes bigger holes all while never once finding a single pest even using a 60x lupe and a brand new microscope never once seen something moving or for sure pest dead i have a post up about it if your bored, I've tried neem oil spray neem in the resivor, habenero tea spray at 8 peppers in 1 liter of water bout killed ME, and spinosad in spray and resivor AND water / iso 70% at 50/50 and id o ly do 1 treatment type per day or other day alternating but with still finding new leaves nibbled I was left no choice but to put those in for a week is my plan then I will wash the ladies down with water before I flip to flower trust me I ain't concerned about a few comecicles that will through time break down anyway and can be washed off esp with in veg a rookies gotta do what a rookies gotta do huge investment on these 7 in the tents right now ima try my damn best pull a harvest
