JMO but i think people try to hard for a perfect temp but me personally ive seen grows at 95+ do great had mine around 82-84 some days hit 90 when really hot outside and never had a problem and have great production/product...Again JMO i think ull be fine with the set-up u have..Mine was in a closet with the only vent being the doors left open when light on and a tower fan blowing the air out..

At 92 degree most strains' growth halts. If you've seen grows excel at 95+ degree, then you've seen grows with broken thermometers.

Or the thermometer was under the light, and wasn't, in fact, recording the AMBIENT temperature. The heat coming off the light would read in the high 90s+, but the air the plants breath isn't going to be that hot.

It is certainly possible, but in a 4x4 room I would recommend a 600 watt. 1,000 is almost overkill if you ask me, they get a lot hotter.

3 things dictate yield, light, roots, genetics.
im running 2 600s in a 48x48 tent. lights on 8pm to 8 am to take advantage of cool night temps. remps run 77 steady with 1- 6in vortex pulling through a phat charcoal filter.
im running 8 plants in a undercurrent system.

my advice... hang the 1k n dont look back

hi im setting up a new room and im using 2 air cooled lights like you, does the way youve got your lights set up work ok? as in side by side with 1 fan sucking through them, instead of haveing them in a straight line. thanks for your help.

great set up, mine are rock steady @75-77 f. progress n actions documented in my journal in signature if interested. peace

I have a dr 120 tent, 4x4; air cooled blockbuster 6"; MaxFan 6"; 400cfm phresh filter; a bedroom; window A/C. A 4x4 1000w combo needs a/c. I also vent into the rest of my house. I average 76f with the A/c set on 78f.

The dude lived in AZ where its 110+ forever and the temp reading was at the bottom of the plants also..But i only saw it online so who knows..

I thought anything above 82 was too hot
I've found that some plants don't mind it a little warmer in there....wouldn't go above 85 though IMO. When you flower is when you want to make sure the heat and humidity are tuned in real nice....avoiding mold!

I am running something similar to this and use no A/C. Draw air from outside on one side of the house, exhaust outside on the other side.
