Unfortunately that light is pure garbage, return it if you can. Just stick with your HPS imo.
Thanks
I got tent and light for $40..
Needed a curing room for my outdoor garden..
Wife just gave me the thumbs-up to run a tent
Want to do it with LEDs to keep cost down intake outtake will be 125 cfm's each
What would be a good led light for my setup

Good deal man. The tent is worth that alone.

Light will all depend on your budget.

Your going to end up regretting that 5' tent. The 7' is a lot more but worth every penny.

It can be easy to grow two 3' tall plants in there. Then plus the pot and if you have it elevated for drainage that plant is over 4 feet from the bottom of the tent. Now that light is way to close.

And yeah. Light is kinda trash. Good led are expensive.

If I were to buy another i would probably build one after seeing what 550$ gets me in build quality. Just some 80/20 extrusions with some lights slapped on it.

I have a Niello 600 watt s series
And 4x2 5ft tall

I've always used hps setup View attachment 4998575

I had 3 blurples about that size in a 2x4x5 tent like that. Yields were not as good as I would've liked. I put a Spider Farmer SF2000 in there and then added a Spider Farmer SF1000 as well so I had lighting from end to end. Yield went up from 3.5 oz to 5 oz per plant on average.

My tent is 32x60x80, so not far off from that besides being 6.5' tall. I think that a legit 600w light would be a good fit. since the tent is rectangular, you'll want to look at boards that mirror that, or have multiples hung widthwise. I'm currently growing with about 300w in the center and it's just not enough and doesn't cover wide enough. So...I'm adding a couple more 200w fixtures. If I were you I'd look at 3x 200w or 2x 300w.

Want to check out electricity on the one if I can get away with two I'll run the two California is real high on electricity
207w per isn't terrible. If you think about how much of our world used to be lit with 60w incandescent bulbs. Even 2 of them at 414w is still pretty chill. Most of my additional power usage is in the two dehumidifiers I run during the summer months.
