man i keep looking and i really see a big problem coming with this box, these things are gonna take off once they start budding and im afraid im gonna run out of room and lst is not an option, theres no room for that either, if i tie them down, 1 plant will for sure take up the whole box, not sure what to do???

you could try pinching the stems. it'll slow vertical growth forsure while also promoting more lateral growth and it'll provide the bit of stress needed to really pack on some weight

yeah your looking at doubling (at least) the space needed once they bloom... I'm lucky one of mine hermied or I would've been in a similar situation.

hmm, what a problem to have indeed lol. i don't know... is it too late to try topping? if it doesn't stress the plant too much, it could be an easy fix, plus you could try to root those tops and start a new party cup grow :) . plants look great by the way.

i did, the rocklock worked fine but the KK still looks like 1 main top, i did it 3 times to her, i really dont want to any more, i think the answer is 2 boxes, LoL. would only cost about $50 or so to do.

well off to work, got 7 dogs in tonight, should get a couple wins, heres the link to watch on WMP at 7:30 EST.

2 boxes is brilliant lmao! I think you will be able to control the height though, how much room do you have to work with? Your probably right though, 3 boxes and lst would be sweet! The KK will double in size so you know that already!

excuse my french but those dogs are fucking sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LoL. so you watched wally, its great huh? man you just dont know how much i love this job!! the dogs are so fucking cool. not sure which one you mean though, LoL. the greys run about 40 mph. i pick the dog up after it runs in each race were in and take them back to the kennel and let them out for a few minutes, then i feed them and they go back out again, and then they get a cookie (a milk bone, LoL) 2 if they win, and then they go to sleep. its just awesome, best job i ever had!! there are 66 dogs in our kennel.

hell yeah kush!! thanks.

glad youre here now, LoL. not at all wanabe, the timer was about $7 at home depot, its a pin type where you pull up the pins to set the time you want on and off, i like the manual ones over digital and this one works great, right on time once you the real time close on it.

hey matt, thanks for stopping in, i got this the other day from another post here on R.I.U. not sure if its fact on not. but makes sense to be, LoL. + rep to ya. im sticking with all 23 or 27 watts to avoid heat problems also. its easier to spread them around for side lighting.

This may be some helpful info. CFL Efficency: CFL's higher than a 55W start to loose their Lumen per Watt RATIO SIGNIFICENTLY. Here's a modified chart from another thread. CFL Lumens/Watt Ratio
Lum/1Watt
150w - 52.667 - 7900 Lumen
105w - 65.714 - 6900 Lumen
85w - 58.823 - 5000 Lumen
65w - 52.308 - 3400 Lumen
55w - 65.454 - 3600 Lumen
42w - 66.667 - 2800 Lumen
40w - 66.25 - 2650 Lumen
32w - 65.625 - 2100 Lumen
30w - 66.667 - 2000 Lumen
27w - 64.815 - 1750 Lumen
23w - 69.565 - 1600 Lumen **** These are VERY Efficent****
Say you had 5 of these 30 watt bulbs:
That would still be 150 watts, but these put out 2000 lumens each, so that would be 10,000 lumens for 150w instead of 7900 for a single 150w.
Also the advantage of better coverage and direct penetration from the bulb. Rather than a reflector. With every extra inch of light travel from a cfl, the more dramatically the penetration effectiveness is decreased. The short of it, smaller more efficent bulbs, and more of them does give you an advantage.
