4inch carbon filter on a 400cfm exhaust from a 4x8x7 tent

I can get a 3x2x1.5 tent with a 4inch oinline fan and a 4 inch carbon filter for 100 dollars.

My question will that small. Carbon filter work on this big of a tent?

Depends how much air you are pulling out your tent. What is the CFM of the Fan & Filter?

And what tent is it? 4x8x7? or 3x2x1.5?

Yea, that's a good size for the tent, but the length of time it will work for will depend on how many plants you grow in the space and how much odor the plants are putting out. And of course how long the carbon filter is.

length of the filter really determins nothing...its the depth of the filter wall.....a filter can be 5 feet long and have a 1 inch filter depth...prob works ...but all the high end filters are 2-3 inch plus filter wall thickness...and made from mined carbon, not man made burnt banana and so on..
