42w cfl's

hey all, so i'm designing a mini grow room. Something really small, its going to be able 24" wide x 19" deep x 32"high and I was wondering if I have my light fixture 4 42w cfl's, would that be enough to veg 4 plants? Its 6500k for veg and 2700k for flower correct?
Im thinking of flowering with cfl's also.

Yeah that will probably get ya some smokage, 4 42w will work and yes that is correct for veg/flower lighting. How is your ventilation, what are the temps at? If ya go into a bit more with the kind of soil, size of pots, light time cycle, grow room wall surface... so much!

I would be more worried about keeping the temps under control like said above. 4 42watt cfl's will definitely be enough to get some bud though!

To grow 4 plants with 4 42ws bulb are not going to be enough. I mean sure you could grow bud with them, but you can grown bud with one 23w or sticking your plant in a window. Really if your only working with 4 42w's I would only grow 2 plants max. And really if you have some good strain fem seeds I would only grow one nice plant. I mean you could either choose to grow 4 below par plants with some fluff bud or you can grow one or two at least half way decent plant with some nice bud on it.
Don't get me wrong I've grown more with less in hard times but just cut down the number of plants you want to grow and you will be fine.
And you have the light spectrums right....6500k for veg and 2700k for flower.

Well thanks guys. Im kinda still in the beginning stages of designing my grow room. I want it to be relatively small and inexpensive so im going CFL's. I said 42w's because I saw a grow journal where the guy grew a few plants and maintained a mother with 4 23w's and I figured I can up it to 42w. I want to grow Blueberry and want to try LSTing one or two for practice.
So 42w is too low? What about 4 60w cfl's? I think I can fit those in and their only a little bit more expensive.
As for airflow and temperature control...those are two of the things im still researching. Im making a carbon filter attached to 2 computer fans to draw the smell through. I have no idea what strength fans I want tho. The room is going to be roughly 3 cubic feet and i was thinking of using 3 31.65cpm computer fans. 2 on top for exhaust and one on the bottom for intake. I might make the intake have a greater cpm tho.

Im still in the beginning stages of growing so any help will be appreciated greatly. This will be my first indoor grow and only my 2nd ever. Right now I have2 bag seed plants almost 2 months old growing outdoors in an abandoned lot. I might post a pic of a sketch (bad one lol) that I drew last night as an idea and have you experts check it out.

you might get some bud with 4x 42 watt bulbs, the operative word being "some." i would use 4 bulbs on each plant, depending on size.

Okay, thanks guys. Now that im thinking. I might try to grow 3 plants with either 2 60w's and 2 42w's or 4 60w's. The reason I want to grow 3 is so I can experiment with the different growing techniques (like LSTing one) and see the comparison in the amount of bud grown.
