i know they are not the best but i used 4 40w 4100k cfl for veg and it was really effective and they grew quite well, with great node space.
dont get me wrong im not saying they are better than 5500k or 6500k but they WILL work they WILL grow you plants you WILL get bud but if you have the option get 6500k
but dont go saying "aww fuck all i got is 300w of 4100k i cant do anything with" because they will grow just fine. its light... the plant is a weed.... it will grow.
