I think I know what you mean now. In the pics, under the screen looks dark and the leaves look real unhealthy compared to the the top new growth. Actually it's still relatively light under the screen, not good for NEW growth though. The leaves are looking pretty good, very dark green (getting old) with some leaf curl, I dont think it will be long before they will want too fall off but I want them to give up there nutrients before they get removed. Thats my theory :shock:

Set up my water system to do a test run today. I have a 100ltr (25gal, approx) drum, two small fish tank pumps, one to circulate and the other to do the watering. The pump run uses a garden hose and homemade dripper to deliver the nutrients. The pump delivers 2.2 litre per minute to the plants (tested). I'm starting with the timer on for one minute every day and 2 minutes every second day, my plants need around 3 litres every 2 days so will see how it goes over the next 7 days.

I'm also going to keep an eye on the nutrient mix. Make sure the ph and ppm remain stable, I'm not sure they will. I have 30ltrs in the drum for this week, ph 6.5 and mix at 1860ppm, well see if it changes.

So after 2 days the nutrient solution hasn't remained all that stable, it's ok but some change has taken place. It started at 6.5ph and 1860ppm, checking it today it was 6.2ph and 1680 ppm, the complete opposite to the issue I had with my DWC grows, they would raise in both ph and ppm. To be honest I prefer the ppm to decrease but the ph could be an issue, glad that I got off my ass and set it up early to do some test runs.

Plants are looking great, the AK is an awesome strain, I can see it getting massive in this grow, it's not the worlds best smoke but it's pretty damn good, the quality of the finished product is all round one of the best.

The G13 growth I believe would be just as good if it had had a couple more days in veg, as it stands its a little behind the AK, cant wait to try it though, the guy who gave me the seeds spent 20k getting these seeds to our country, yip, 20 thousand dollars (he's a big time grower). I'm so lucky to have been given a clone!! :-P
