I have a storage room in my garage that is 1m x 3-4m and I only want 1-2 plants in there. I want to utilize the 1m width and maybe 1.5m length dedicated to the ladies! As its a storage room it will get really hot with the 600w right?? Im going to set up the ventilation and all that soon before I start.

Do you think I should get the 400 for that size room or get the 600?? Its only gonna be 1 plant - 2 MAXXX!

the more the better... usually! but if you only plan to grow 1-2 plants, 400w's will do you will, it did me great. got 14oz(dry) off two plants.

I have the plants in the process of growing in a thread I made. But i'm not sure how to really picture it all scaled out.
Is it really that unlikely that people can grow such yields? I feel i did bad on my grow but yet my results seem to be shocking to many!
Either i'm naturally talented... lucky... or some of you have no clue what you are doing.
I'll also add that I had a 100w MH lamp under plants during last few weeks of flowering.

*My Bubble weighted in at 185ish grams after 3 weeks of curing, and my AK weighted in at 200grams after 3 weeks of curing.

go for a dimmable digital 600 - you can always turn it down and if it's not enough back up again.spare capacity is always handy...

i actually just bought a nice hydrofarm mini light off ebay for 122 shipped its 250w has a switch you can flip and put either mh or hps bulbs in it http://www.hydrofarm.com/product.php?itemid=9871
they make the 400w version too sunsystem has them too with a built in cooling flange and a glass so you can air cool but its a little more expensive then the hydrofarm

i think 400 or 600 in a space that small would be more like a easy bake oven you will have to cut holes either way so it really depends on what you want to put into ventilation

I did 400 Watts in a 2x3x5.5 tent and it was fine. 600 might have given me a little more yield, but the extra heat could have been a problem. I like longophil's suggestion of a dimmable 600 just in case your space can take it. Oh, and I also grow 2 plants at a time.
