400w good enough for 3 plants?

1st timer. I am vegging 3 plants , 2 Mazars, 1 GDP. I am using a 400w MH. I am growing in soil. Using Fox farms potting soil, with big bloom once a week at 2 table spoons per gallon. I have a HPS bulb for flowering. Will a 400w system be enough for 3 plants? oh, I am growing them in my bathtub, and have a fan running on them. Any advise will be greatly appreciated. I am 215 legal, got clones from my collective.

yes a 400w will be plenty. i use a 400w to flower a 2x4 area and its great.

it will be enough, but............
you could run them both side by side and have some killer bud, or do you only have the one ballast?, if so is it the correct one?
i don't mean to be an ass but i had to ask, didn't want you blowing your bulbs.

I have only 1 ballast, it's a digital ballast that runs both MH and HPS.
