400w Dinafem Critical jack bush grow

Hey guys, I recently harvested an auto that I managed to pull 6oz off with a 300w hps (turned down because of heat issues), so I'd like to think I am a reasonably competent grower. I was originally planning to scrog this plant, but after building the scrog I realised it was too difficult to change the bucket by myself so I dropped that.

Now I am going to grow this plant under a 125w CFL until she has a few nodes and the roots hit the water, then switch to a 400w MH in a cooltube which should sort the heat issues. To solve the scrog problem, I will attach hooks to the edge of the lid and the plant will be tied down at every stage of growth. Topping is also on the cards to create a short bush as there is only about 40" of vertical room for the plant from the netpot. The nutes being used are the lucas formula, from the small amount amounts of nutes I have added to the rez already, the PH has held rock solid at 5.8 so far, I think I'll like this range.

The plant has been added to the bucket on Friday after spending Wednesday and Thursday in the propagator, There is some leaf twisting which I believe is PH problems in the rockwool as I didn't soak it for very long, silly move but it also explains the slow growth so far. Rez temps are holding steady at 22c (71f) which is borderline bad but I also have some budlink if needed to combat high temps, we are also in the middle of a heatwave here in Ireland so the temps should drop a bit when it's over.

Other than that I hope she will produce a fine harvest, hoping for at least 10oz of top quality spanish herb. Enjoy the journal and don't be afraid to poke some criticism my way, I know it would be helpful. Toodles.
